im trying to work out if you got really big gonads or a fool lol . what posseses you to paddle out so far only 3 inches from the water n when playing the fish you hook, have your legs hanging in the water .im in my late 60s now n used to fish the reefs from the seaway to cook island from the mid 80s till the late 1999 before i moved closer to my sons in bundy . back in my GC offshore days we would see big bull sharks n tiger sharks cruising the top 10feet of water looking for a feed due to burley trails being laid .many times we seen big white sharks at the currumbin n 18fathom n 24fathom reefs .no way id do what your doing these days as there are heaps more sharks .my mates are slowly moving up this way n further north cause offshore on the goldy now your lucky to land 2 outta 10 fish caught cause of sharks .yep im a chicken n my biggest fear in life is being eaten alive lol .oops 2nd biggest fear is being married again lol .my son canoes in the monduran dam for barra but he fitted an electric motor to his .have you thought bout a small motor on your setup to get a bit more speed when trolling .great video but i thinks ya nuts man lol .happy australia day .cheers

Used to be around here we’d put that tailor on a float and drift him for king mackerel they are a great live bait - seen you have mount for the sounder on top, railblaza? But you have an opposite one on the inside your hatch lid to mount it?? Take a shot of that on a vid man? Wanna steal that idea. Ya didn’t donut that trip? But ya never got more than a sandwich size? Cheers man!

Great way to start the day, a paddle on some nice calm water, no wind and a nice fish for a bonus before work. Those rods around 7 foot and over are my fave length out of the yak, just the perfect size. Great clip again, always look forward to seeing what you lucky buggers are catching up in Gods own country

What a morning, smashed on the way out, copped one to the beak, dropped the first fish of the day, then second fish is a shark along with a massive tangle (in my 60+ years of fishing I still can't work out how those big bad birds nests happen) and then too finish off an eventful morning a decent wipe out. Mate at least you ticked all the boxes for one fekd' up session, so at least ya got the win there champ

Oh the joys of kayak fishin 😂 I use mine in the Chesapeake Bay for flounder and redfish. So far I haven't done any serious trolling but I want to next spring and summer. I might hook a cobia. Remember to keep a light rod with a shrimp imitation out there. Anytime you see something floating you might find a tripletail. That would be a great catch on a yak, and it's totally possible. Cool video, it takes guts to paddle offshore.
