Please don't think of me being pedantic or aggressive when I say: The packaging is not decided at consumer level. The packaging is a designer-created product decided upon by the marketing teams of the companies that produce the package and the companies that supply the content with the input of the companies that sell them. It's a whole supply chain, and the consumer isn't even at the end of it. As consumers at the supermarket, we are surrounded by Rationed products based on sugar and grain whose sole purpose is for us to give up our money to buy. If we seek out buying dry pantry goods in bulk rather than in a pound/kg or less, then we, as consumers, pay less for the packaging and have less garbage at home. Rice, flour, pasta - last a very long time, stored properly. Do you really need the cartoons of a cardboard box to make your kid happy? All the breakfast "cereals" are available in bulk form if you look for them. Should we strive to acquire packaging which is biodegradable, and therefore, a risk to health and safety? The attractive part of plastic is that it is usually not tasty to rodents, is resistant to mold and bacteria, and is lightweight in comparison to glass, wood, cardboard, etc. Wood and cardboard, btw, are treated with very harsh chemicals and added plastics to make it moisture resistant (as well as be able to maintain that printed Brand). The recycling market, to be truthful, relies on the illegal movement of containers out to other countries. There is a multi-billion dollar black market of trash from the US and Europe, to countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. Mislabeled shipping containers seldom find themselves the target of governments and authorities. We, the consumer, don't decide on any of it. When we recycle, we are not recycling - we are delegating the responsibility to municipalities and private companies, who will then ship the trash away. There are simply not enough recycling plants of ANY KIND, including glass, that absorb the amount of trash created, and there are many interests against the building of waste-to-energy facilities, and against building recycling plants for the other materials because, simply, blunty, realistically put, recycling is NOT environmentally friendly. Thanks for your video. Have you considered reusable vs recyclable? Reusable K cups are available, and many are made of stainless steel. Just add your own ground coffee. Unfortunately, a lot of what's thrown in recycling bins is not recycled and instead ends up in landfills. Reusable items are often a more eco-friendly choice.

Hi Lili, I had my last concussion 4 years ago. I went on to a concussion specialist and have to revamp my business. In the beginning being a dancer I could not even listen to music for months let alone dance. Being a pain relief and posture specialist, I have worked with private personal training clients. The world is constantly noisy (birds, traffic noise, hum of a light) so quiteness is provided and even candle light yoga. Concussions can even give personality changes. Having a granddaughter with a 2nd concussion in a year have constant headaches, I stepped in after 1 month of dr, pt appointments and asked about alignment. No looks at that. Having a posture image from 2 years before, we could see physical changes in her head position. Using craniosacral techniques and other advance techniques I created, her headache reduced in 1 appointment. After her 2nd appointment she was able to take tests with the rest of the class and not have to be in isolated room. My posture neurology education helps my client with TBI’s, recovering from concussions, eye fatigue from too much computers but also assists with improving balance.

Great content ! I watched the whole thing! I have a suggestion for low food waste. I make soup every Tuesday. Monday is trash day so if the food has gone BAD it goes out and what ever is left goes into soup. The first rule is no showing until everything is going to go bad gets into the soup. One other tip is to grow the herbs you like to make all the about to go bad food taste great.❤
