You have stumbled on a bent tree, not a so-called “trail tree.”

Why they need over 7 minutes to get to the answer is beyond me but if you want to know without the lengthy bullshit, go to the 5 minute mark.

NASA: "We had a complete paradigm shift and this will never happen again." So what are you going to do about the problem with Columbia? "Well, we never had a problem before so we're just going to cross our fingers."
@Watch_Jojo
@Watch_Jojo 5 күн бұрын
It seems like NASA is acknowledging the need for change but not providing a concrete solution for the Columbia issue. Simply hoping for the best is not enough. What specific measures are being taken to prevent such problems in the future?

@@Watch_Jojo They acknowledged the need for change after Challenger, *a preventable disaster*. And I believed them once. Flash forward to Columbia. I will never as long as I live forget that email that was leaked from them. “So are we going to cross our fingers and hope for the best?” Utterly unforgivable. Now they stranded two astronauts on the space station with a falling apart capsule. “Well we’re thankful it didn’t explode while docked to the ISS.” I guess failure is not only an option, it’s expected.
@Watch_Jojo

I completely understand your frustration and anger over the catastrophic events in the past, such as Challenger and Columbia. These incidents were painful reminders that failure is not just an option but a reality in space exploration. However, it's also important to acknowledge the efforts made to improve safety and reduce risks. Of course, we must always strive for further improvements to ensure the safety of astronauts and space missions. We hope that space agencies learn from past mistakes and continue to enhance their procedures and technologies.

I understand your concern. While it may seem sad to see the tortoise in a pen, it's important to note that this discovery is crucial for conservation efforts. By studying and protecting this rare Galápagos tortoise, scientists can ensure its survival and possibly help increase its population in the wild. The ultimate goal is to preserve this species and eventually return it to its natural habitat.
