Do you like that tire carrier? Seems way far out instead of the close tucked options.
@JensenAdventuresaz28 күн бұрын
I don’t mind it. It’s not bad that’s how far out they typically stick out when they are hitch mounted!
@joeholecek8309Ай бұрын
Watch out ,there is a thing called capillary action and when two surface over lap that joint will suck water in between the two surfaces and this is how RV and trailer gets such bad water damage
@joeholecek8309Ай бұрын
So I suggest don't worry about pretty ,make a good looking joint that is completely sealed is probably best ,water can do a lot of weird stuff that you wouldn't think it can but physics tells you it can

I found that the engine brake switch was awkward to use in the center location so I moved it over beside the overdrive switch. Way better, since i flick them both at the same time when i want to bleed speed quickly.

Good call! I have a train horn switch in that spot on my truck but I don’t mind reaching over or telling my wife to hit the brake switch!
@TheTimeIsNowAdventuresАй бұрын
@JensenAdventuresaz my horn button is right under those switches. I probably flick the brake switch 50+ times a day lately since I've been driving mostly in mountains the last month. That engine brake is awesome.

I have a 1997 International 4700 DT226. 6 cylinder turbo diesel. I was wondering how the wheel size affected the cruising speed & power. What about MPG? I want to make my 16’ box truck into an overland type vehicle.
@JensenAdventuresazАй бұрын
It actually lowered my rpm and improved my mpg. These trucks are geared at 5.13 from the factory so the bigger tire makes it run more efficient actually.
