The woman at 1:45 is just straight up using eugenics as an argument. this is the type of ''''Science'''' the fucking nazis did in their concentration camps...... quite saddening seeing ppl still referencing genetic differences in ''Races'' when there are, medically speaking, none.
@hannaoverbeck6439 Жыл бұрын
The woman in 1:45 is so wrong it actually hurts. Race does not play a part in Donor/Recipient selection, it is completely irrelevant. And of course are unrelated people genetically different from eachother, that's actually common knowledge. For anyone who doubts this, here's a link to a study, because apparently you people can't do a simple bit of research. Ustun, Celalettin et al. “Importance of donor ethnicity/race matching in unrelated adult and cord blood allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant.” Leukemia & lymphoma vol. 55,2 (2014): 358-64. doi:10.3109/10428194.2013.800200 pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23647059/

If you cut out the clip with the f-word and the dad shouting at his child to shut up then this would be appropriate and a great jumping off point for a discussion with children in school.

I think it's interesting that so many people who eat meat refuse to accept the reality of where that meat comes from. If you couldn't kill an animal yourself, or be okay with watching it being killed, you shouldn't be eating meat. Also, the guy that says you need meat in your diet to be healthy? Tell that to the millions of vegetarians around the world who are perfectly healthy.

So its foot print includes a gas plant and those ugly towers. I live on the coast were these things are an eye sore. Just how many protected birds will die because of these things? And who can afford to build these plus a gas power plant to act as a backup. This is why the poor keep getting poorer. They can't afford the power.

So weird coming form an plastic bottled water company um, .....and can someone buy the camera person a tripod already! And teach them about exposure ahh ..and I dont know what to expect from wind farms after this..confused???

Potential is only on the rare occasion that there's enough wind. 100% back-up needed 24/7 to keep the lights on. Why make the capital outlay twice?

Check out what wind farms produce for us all here if you don't believe they are any good at producing a useful percentage of clean energy: www.gridwatch.templar.co.uk/index.php

Depends on when you look. Some days it is as high as 25% of demand, sometimes it is less than 1%. The problem with wind power is that it is intermittent. We need low carbon energy that matches demand constantly. The overbuild and (non-existent) storage required for wind to always match demand is just mind boggling.

This video is lacking in balance and contains errors. Life Water claims to be 'ethical', apparently by comparing itself to marginally less ethical competitors in an unethical and polluting industry (bottled water). It purports the benefits of reducing CO2 emissions on its website, which seems at odds with this video criticising taxpayer support for clean energy (this is rightly reducing as costs fall). The letter shown around the 2 minute mark is from a climate change denier and anti-green Christopher Booker, which doesn't seem like a good place to source facts on a wind farm.

These wind farms should be banned., their are not economically viable and have limited use. Can use when no wind or when there is a high wind. Plus kills thousands of birds a year.

Gary Duff but what do you do when they cant function? As we have seen with germany there are times they do not function. In fact many countries are finding wind does not pay. We each have had to pay hundreds of pounds in subsidies for wind while the providers earn millions.
@Oscar-if6lq7 жыл бұрын
Gas power plants can switch on in a matter of just 5 minutes. Have gas power plants on standby to fill in the void of solar and wind during these shortfalls.
