Can't remember what it is, but I've got a 12" that has this exact same piano tune. Driving me mad! EDIT Ignore that - it's Canrino by T-Coy, and it's one I WISH I had on 12"! kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2jZgGanq9qEp8U

Konami made such a special selection for the first songs licensed and featured on DDR, this one in particular brought an indescribable magic to the list. Still a beautiful remake after all this time and one of the songs I always select when I play that mix. Would be a lot of fun to know your work process from that time.

I remember now - this was the original mix we did in the Sheffield studio before talking it to Bluechip in Stafford to get it mixed. We had a version of it printed on an acetate and must have got it Whitehead. John Barlow suggested we go to Bluechip for mix downs and from that point we started to go there and lug all our gear there every time we had to do mix. They sounded bloody good though - Rich was a genius at mix downs for us! Such a tune this - it gives me goosebumps! :-)
@Mark-qz5eg Жыл бұрын
Yeah Graeme Park / Tom Wainright and Ally Whitehead all played the Acetates of this to death, the original was SUCH an iconic tune, that modulation effect was immense and set it apart from anything around at that time. You did a modulation effect on Nootripic - I See only you remix what was released, if only it could have been kept in this aswell

I love this tune but all the versions on youtube sound so awful. Not to diss your video, it's a total banger, but everybody else's kinda sounds like shit too. Looking at buying the vinyl but discogs sharks in the UK got it at £30 cheapest. Is this red vinyl pressing better quality than what i'm hearing on youtube and worth the cop?
@thelisamarieexperiencetric2111 Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately the pressing quality isn't great, that's why they all sound below par. Usually, coloured vinyl pressings are of lower quality than black ones but ironically go for higher prices. I'd go for a black one if sound quality is your priority.
@deanmarriott6786 Жыл бұрын
I had a one only, acetate pressing of this and I don’t believe it went any further - in fact didn’t Hi-Life get shut down before it’s release? Great to hear it again after all these years 😃

I'm sure I've got one lurking at my parents, wasn't able to check my entire collection for it this last visit, hopefully I'll get my hands on it next time. @@thelisamarieexperiencetric2111 Hi there! Is this the real ‘Lisa Marie Experience’? If so it’s a pleasure to be messaging you. You gave me some amazing nights from 1995 onwards dancing to some of your unbelievable tunes and remixes! It’s on that note I’ve a question for you! I first heard ‘Keep on Jumping’ at Cream’s 3rd B’day party played by Pete Tong and it was the tune of the night by a mile. I remember everyone looking at each other like ‘what is this?’ Disco but pumping house throughout it. And what a breakdown! Pete then played it on mixes I recorded all the way up to the end of January 1996. But when it was released there was the Bizarre Inc mix and a couple of vocal ones but not the same version as the one Pete played. Did this particular one ever get a release please? If it didn’t is there any way I can purchase a digital copy? I’m a DJ now and play a monthly residency. I play modern house and techno but always play classics in between and playing this version would suit my style down to the ground. I’m not expecting you will have it but I’d love to hear why the release was different. If you do I’d pay anything!!! My email is [email protected] or id dearly love a reply in here if you ever get chance. Mainly, thank you for the wonderful memories!!! X

@@michaelmashiter368 Yes, this is the real LME and I'm glad you like our music, thank you! As for KOJ, I'm not aware of Pete Tong having a different version to what was released. The mix that he would've had was our original version and as far as I can recall, that version was also on the full 12" release. We did quite a few different versions and I think they are all available digitally, if you can't find the one you've mentioned then I'm not sure what that version is.
