This is the best by far cover I have heard on Utube. Sounds just like the original. Well talented man executed.

Exceptionally well done. Very tough because of all of Seraphin's fast tom rolls throughout the song.

Tate - here we have another perfect cover (drum) of yet another one of my very favorite 70s songs! This lively classic from Boz (love those horns!) didn't receive a whole lot of radio airplay here in SOCAL at that time, but I did hear it every now and then...and it immediately moved into my Top 10 fav pop song category. I used to sing this song (as well as "Lido Shuffle" and "It's Over") while on the job where I worked at Disneyland back in 1978-80! Loved it then, still love it now! Again, a job very well done! Keep up the great work!

…really cookin’ version - Kath must have set this tempo.😜. We do the longer version that they did with EW&F with Chicago 9 Tribute Band. Awesome job again my “fellow brother of the drum.”👊
@tate_berkey17 күн бұрын
Thanks Mark! This one come right out of Danny's solo from I'm A Man like the album version, but obvisouly he got cookin' pretty fast towards the end before they went into Free. The fill at the top is the tail end of his solo as he counts off the song!

Gentlemen & Lady - Pretty darn good cover of one of my all time favorites from the 1970s! I was there, back in early 1977 (a high school senior), when Boz Scaggs released "Lido Shuffle" as a single from his fabulous Silk Degrees LP. Loved it then, still love it now! Thank you!

Phil Collins is easily one of my all time favorite drummers and this song is exactly why. That stuff he was doing on the kick drum? Genius. His symbol and tom work is just unmatched greatness. Anyone who can even come close to playing like Collins is master in my book--no doubt.
@GarySelby-s9k29 күн бұрын
What is the type of head you are playing? I have a 7 piece red quadra plus kit with single headed toms I bought in the late 70's. I have used about every head out there on these and I haven't been totally satisfied. Are those Ludwig Weathermaster clearsingleply?
@tate_berkey25 күн бұрын
Most of the toms here have Remo Clear Ambassadors, but a couple had the heads on them that came with the kit, (one has a clear silver dot head, and I believe another was a clear emperor).
