I remember sitting across the supper table from this man. In Aliceville Al. In the early 60's. A lot of the Grand Ole Opry greats used to stop at my Uncle Jim Brocks house for a home cooked meal. Uncle Jim played fiddle for Jim and Jessie. Good times!!

We usually sing this at Pat O'Brian in New Orleans in the 60s. Best years of my life.

Great music! I love bluegrass, it has a very similar soul that Irish music has, it unintentionally tells a simple story from bygone days, true folk music!

Shame on you for whoever disliked this song. I was brought up on this music my grandfather played bass and sang bass for the highland grass his name is Stanley Skidmore. He has alzheimers now but I still keep the bluegrass flowing in are family god bless.
