All you have to do is reverse and brake the momentum slips the boat off. Easy.👍

They were running trips in one from the Southampton boatshow September 2022. Apparently the Portsmouth Naval Base Property Trust run outings in one.

I found out the method for clearing it when I got back to Wifi signal but there was nothing in the manuals unfortunately that were on board. Strangely I tuned out to it and didn't notice it after a while. It was no where near as frequent normally as in the video that only occurred when the boat sat on the back of big seas for some reason. Why? No idea what so ever! :-)

I think they were 150's but not sure how you would be judging the speed from the video let alone know where the throttle was :-)

Hi Paul, I don't know on the Cougar in terms of what you'll get at what speed. However, economy is very good on the Cheetah with the Suzuki Lean Burns. The real trick is to cruise economically with a clean hull. On the Cheetah by way of example we get, with a clean hull, about 27ltrs ph per engine with a cleanish bottom that has been anti-fouled. That gives about 22knots. Hydrive steering for them is the best by a mile. Depending on conditions that is about 22 knots at about 3500 rpm.

I live in Sheerness, where would be a good place to spot seal's?. I don't mind seeing them from a distance.
