Thank you, Mr Mueller, for a sanely presented excellent presentation. I was becoming disenchanted with the 100 klm hr presentations in the majority of youtubes which send me to sleep. Thank you for your respectfulness to your audience.

To all MANSPLAINERS on you tube: Its not about the individual tool… its about the entire platform, the. Battery platform. No one in their right mind is going to buy a Makita x tool, or a Milwaukee Y tool or a Dewalt z tool because they have one little tiny gadget different that the others don’t. Does the saw cut? Thats the question. Why cant we see a complete tool line up comparison for once! Argh!

The only downside of this tool I have picked up are the gaps on the laser beam that you notice because of the black solid corner pieces that support the lenses

How is it when planing wider surfaces? I heard it can only go down to 3mm, because the housing on the side collides with the surface.
@Mueller_projects3 ай бұрын
It does go down to 4mm. But like any planer going full depth and full width they all struggle a bit. I’ve got the makita 1050w corded planer and that struggles full depth at 4mm on full width.

I lked your makita 40 vilt review it made me very interested in the Makita leaving Milwaukee. Now for the Hilti, hum a high end tool manufacturer offers cheaply made saw like their rear handle saw has plastic rafter hook. Though ofder 20 year warranty with 2 year overnight swap.

Thank you sir for the review. Used a Milwaukee when I was in the carpenter union. Felt okay easy to use, had plenty of power. I looked into Makita or Hilti I am a finish carpenter need to be able to make straight cuts. Can you find a fellow carpenter to test Makita vs Hilti? A video from Australia on he was switching to Makita from Milwaukee I as well. He stated Milwaukee is more for plumbers and electricians. I agree all I see or DeWalt (yellow black and Decker.)

I found the Makita 40v had heaps of power. Both were similar, but I personally felt the 40v had more power. Hilti doesn’t have a rear yet in NZ.

When I got my dream 18v makita saw(dhs680) I was a bit disappointed that it had less power than I expected, now I'd like to have hs012 or hs004, still wondering if hs004 is more powerful than hs012 or they are the same
@Mueller_projects7 ай бұрын
From what I understand the dhs680 has a power output of 680w. The hs012 & the hs004 both have an output of 1300w. Just different sized blade. The hs012 is lighter than the dhs680 with more power

That last bit when you're digging with the gun.... 2" hose coming off a dust collector hopper will change your life! Literally scrape the "walls" of the hole while running a vacuum and it sucks it right into the bin. No clean up. No sweeping after. If you need to backfill a bit after plumbing or something, simply tip the bin.

1- the fact that we all dont simply have the same math at this point is beyond ridiculous to me... Im american and even i have 10 fingers and 10 toes. We learn to count to 10 at first, then at some point they throw us a loop and make us read a tape measure😂 2 - i dig the table. Been wanting to build out a few 2' x 4' tables to replace my big one...

I own both and I use cordless more often, sometimes I have to use cordless, just recently had to do some repairs in a attic, yes I couldn’t of figured it out with the pneumatic but thank god for the Milwaukee not having to drag the cord and compressor up there made a world of difference. Yes the Milwaukee is heavy, but overall it’s a great nail gun, but hey to each their own. If you don’t have the need to drop the over 300 bucks on the bare tool than stick with what works for you

Hey man, question does the makita suspenders fit a Taurus leather belt?
@Mueller_projects Жыл бұрын
All the suspenders I’ve used either came with belt loops to put a 50mm toolbelt through, or you can by them separately if needed. Some toolbelts have places to attach suspenders too. Does that answer your question?
@nakedapprentice Жыл бұрын
I agree with you on the Taurus vs Makita suspenders. I looked at the Taurus and went for the Makita. It does get a bit sweaty and scratchy in summer. I bought a new diamondback Grande 2.0 belt recently, carry more gear in it, and it still feels lighter, so I haven't bothered putting any suspenders on.
