Hi and great vid, I am looking at using one as a dashcam for recording our road trips, just wanting to know if it is at all possible to shut the screen when recording and turning it off manually. oh which is the best LOL Cheers

Like my Sony, lightweight, cheap, ideal for clean hdmi out for live streams and it runs of powerbank if I. Need to run for hours

Great video comparison. I have had the Panasonic for over a year and love it. It blows the Sony out of the water in every respect. 100 percent love it.

I know panasonic is better, but i kind of like sonys vibes better, im a filmmaker and the vibes that u get with the sony are awesome, like those 2000 vibes. in the case of the panasonic, it is good, but is not enough good for profesional fillmmaking, not even better than an iphone, and its not too bad for nostalgic images. so its in the middle, just a good handycam. sony is other thing, its 1080p but with a lot of the older handycams, i love it, im going for that one

you have to buy lens guard if you have schrach you have to send back to hongkong those morons dont think it safire glass so you pay all costs while you have garantie but doenst cover it if you wanna buy x3 dont pay it or extremly carefull

Went with the Panasonic too. Seemed better here. Also have had great reliability with the Panasonic brand.

Thanks for the video, I was concerned about stitching, as other reviews have said it was a problem, your 360 previews have convinced me it’s the answer. Especially over the terrible insta360 sticky lens guards which fog badly and ruined footage! Thanks.

I didn’t have any stitching problems but there is a very slight drop in image quality (but only if you are really looking for it) and there is a little lens flare especially at night. Its a toss up between quality and protection

I didn’t experience fogging myself but I think they could have fogging issues like the sticky and insta360 pro lenses. So far though I have not had any problems.

@@VidYoze recently i had a chance to use x3 in beach area and cruise and all of my footages are depressing due to ugly fogging and hue and flares...if ur happy with this product il consider these buying sir

To be honest, you will get some flares, I did notice this a small bit depending on the light. I did not see any hue change but you do notice a slight drop in image quality. You can see this in the video. I dont use the lens guard in all situations if Im honest. Mostly when I attach the camera to my motorbike.

If you look closely enough there is a difference in the image quality with the lens on, the image is not as clear. When sun is bright you also do get some flares but its still pretty good especially if you are concerned about scratching the X3 lens which I have done!!!!!!

You can see from the video that I had no issues with stitching, the options in the app allow you to choose different stitching options

@@andyairshots have not really looked into the stills much but they are ok, fine for printed photos but not if you gonna crop and zoom in on the photo. Passable yes
