I was a senior in high school when I was at this show. It was a 7 minute drive to the Civic Center. Right place, right time!

I wonder if they are still around making albums. This brings back memories of the 90’s when music was quality.

Saw these guys for the first time at Deer Creek, noblesville, Indiana. I think it was like 2004 or so, but they played with Keller Williams and Dark Star Orchestra. I was 16 at the time, and we walked into them playing the Kill Bill song.

It sounds like there is a slightly different lyric in the 4th stanza. "Inch your way through dead dreams to another land." He doesn't say "dead dreams". I can't make it out. I wonder what it was. Here is it queued up: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4aaiJihjdqHaLs

We will always love you Phil. May your spirit rest easy wherever it is that it may go brother. You've impacted so many lives without even knowing it. You've inspired so many to pick up the bass and learn to try and move mountains the same way you were able to. You were the root and heartbeat that couldn't be replaced. Your legacy was, still is and always will be bigger than you could've imagined. We all sincerely will continue to hold reverence for you, your work and your name. Even though I was born after Jerry's passing, and hopped on the bus when Dead and Co was just a concept, the music you made with the boys has shaped me as a human. And for that I will always be in debt to you, a man I never got the pleasure to meet. Much love man, you will be missed. <3 -From a Deadhead forever Grateful p.s. tell Jerry to guide my fingers please... haha Also, you still owe me speakers. <3

such a mesmerizing version, it's almost hypnotic with moments of clear apprehension yet somehow clarity. Flow states are usually like that...

At 1st glance the person all the way to the right ,”in the shades? “ looks like they’re talking on a cell phone😂. Something way too common at shows today! Oh,and to the guy saying the amp sounds like a Marshall from the 80’s. And the organ. Maybe it’s Randy Hansen. I’ve seen many a Randy show. Best at doing Jimi I’ve ever seen. A cool dude too. But no, this isn’t anyone but Jimi,Mitch and Noel. I’ve been listening my whole life. It’s no doubt the real deal. And even in the 80,s Jimi got a fantastic sound. It got cleaner towards the end. I loved all his tones regardless!

This might be my 2nd fav Texas, the 2005 Fillmore tex->exodus->texas still gives me goosebumps. There used to be a video of IKYR with bela fleck somewhere on the interwebs 20 or so years ago. Had it saved on an old hard drive. Wish i could find it :(
