That is a lot of money for an attorney I didn’t believe it they make more then nurses and doctors and they won’t be in debt from school and they won’t be drained and their mental health dang I need to be an attorney for real.

Can you convert from an LLC with 5 total owners to a Delaware C Corp after collecting 1st seed round of investments? Would you advise to do so in advance and if so, in advance of the SAFE Note agreement with investor or just before the investor actually executes the fund transfer? Also, does the company lose its QSBS tax exemption status by converting down the road after already receiving raised funds?

@@KristinaSubbotinaEsq I see! In California or in general? Do follow on investors not look askance at a company who has a founder with a salary but without regular workings hours or operational responsibilities? That doesn't come across as a 'no show job'?

Добрый день, Кристина! Подскажите, пожалуйста, пытаюсь понять, могу ли я сдавать БАР при условии получения LLM в Техасе. Не могу понять, как подтвердить что "the Applicant is authorized to practice law in the jurisdiction or State". Читаю в правилах Supreme Court of Texas Rules Governing Admission to the Bar of Texas (параграф 5 правило № 13): An Applicant is exempt from the law study requirement prescribed by Rule 3 if the Applicant satisfies the requirements of subsections (a)-(c) below: ...(c) the Applicant is authorized to practice law in a foreign jurisdiction or in another State. Сталкивались ли с подобным? Я эвалюировал свои дипломы об образовании через WES. Достаточно ли будет этого? Или возможно нужно предоставить документы о работе? К заявлению нужно прикладывать Certificate of good standing and Statement of Discipline. Я много лет практиковал право в качестве юрисконсульта в корпорации, не адвоката. Не могу найти комментарии. Спасибо за ответ!

Такая же история! Закончил USC, затем Tax LLm from Northwestern. Поработал в корпоративном сегменте и понял, что хочу практиковать litigation. Ушел в criminal defense/ tax fraud/ tax evasion. Все возможно, преграды в голове!
