I’ve never has an issue with a pre owned bag with an odor, but I bought a bag a few weeks ago, and when it arrived and I saw the size of the box, I was like 😰😱😨. She folded it in half!!!! I almost cried, but I put in an organizer insert and tons of air paper. Then I used my hairdryer on a light setting. After a day or so, it was fine. I know how you feel. Glad your bag is usable!!!

Oh a hair dryer, I have not heard of that?!?! I am so glad that worked...oh no, they folded the bag?!!! That is frustrating when people squish things into boxes...I tend to do the opposite and would rather have the thing have some room, but be well packaged.

You know, it really did. I was to the point where I thought it just might not come out. I was so shocked to open it and find it gone. Maybe I should have stuffed it more in the beginning as the last couple of months I did have it completely filled.

I'm also a huge bookworm, and was actually going to recommend Alix E. Harrow! I have read and enjoyed all of her books this past year. You're lucky that you found one with the purple edges, as that's my favourite colour! 💜

I have found my reading has slowed considerably the last few months. My purchasing however has not😂. I think I have burned out on all the reading challenges and readathons I planned for the year thanks to booktube. I’ve decided to dial this back next year. I’m primarily a mood reader and since I’ve had books planned for each month, it’s beginning to wear on me and slow me down. This has been a great haul, some of these books are so pretty! I read one of Jennifer L.Armentrout’s trilogies. It was YA so it wasn’t too cringey. I don’t primarily care for YA though so I haven’t read any more by her.

OH vintage jewelry...it is a rabbit hole that so far I have stayed out of....but can see the appeal so much!!! Tiffany is another favorite. I just love the history there as well. I like things that tell a story, like a handbag and jewelry really does as well. 💕💕

Thank you for sharing your story! Minks4all was my first KZbinr into luxury as well! I’m glad she is still making content! You brought up some good points in your story. You mentioned your coworker didn’t bring her coach bag to work because it was too nice. You inspired her to start using it. When you start talking luxury brands at work, that can get tricky. You will be judged. When your husband shared the cost of a luxury bag, that’s special! You shared there is a difference between higher end bags v contemporary bags. As there should be. Thank you for sharing how easy it is to go down the rabbit hole when it all starts with just one item.

Yes, I really no longer discuss my handbags at work. Someone may comment about one and I say thank you and then try to end the conversation there. It was easier back when all I carried was Coach. Now I try to save the conversations for youtube. I think it is another huge reason why this community has become so dear to me.

Hi ya Jame! Your experience on how you got into luxury is pretty close to how I started! You made me think back to a Liz Claiborne bag I got in the early 2000s and then I went into Coach outlet bags after that! Wow amazing how it all starts right?!? Love your Chanel you showed! Coach was such great quality and I remember my moms coach and LV catalogues as well, so special. Oh your comment about your grandma hit straight to my heart. I loved my mom's mom, my grandma so much. Until I had children I don't think I loved another person as much or as fiercely. I lost her when I was 18. I can't even imagine what a treasure it would have been to receive a handbag from her. :-) Thank you for sharing that. 💕💕

Jame Get it out and enjoy it! I had so many collectibles, Including vintage barbies in their box, that were worth less than what I paid. I ended up donating them to an Animal charity that sold them in their thrift shop, I at least was able to help a few animals. I think of all the money I wasted or the times that I could have enjoyed the things that I ended up donating. Just enjoy it now life is too short! In the end, it's just a mug.

Welcome!!! I am so glad you are here. :-) I have book journals. I write in each book I receive and I get a little picture of the book (from an etsy shop) and put it in by each one as well. I have way more books then I have time to read...at least right now. I am glad to get 4 or 5 done a month. I like having them though, that way if I get a chance to grab one I have it. :-)

Could you do a segment on how you first got into bags? My first bag crush was Kipling. That was maybe thirty years ago. My first splurge of cash was a Mulberry Bayswater, which I found too heavy to carry. Biggest splurge of cash was the Fendi baguette Carrie Bradshaw purple sequin. What was yours?

Oh I love this idea. :-) My first bag crush was Coach...so many of their bags I just loved. My first big splurge was my Chanel Boy bag....then my biggest would be my Chanel double flap. :-) I will have to do a video about it. Oh...that Fendi baguette..that is a wish list bag.💕
