I played this one time at work, then my co-worker asked me for the title of this playlist. He seemed really into it and even checked out different versions on youtube. I was so surprised to learn that an old school guy like him would be interested in jazz/bossa nova. I played it everyday since then and he would hum super off-key. But I remember always feeling so warm inside. His name was Gwyn. And he died 2 days ago. Work will never be the same. I wish everyone knew Gwyn. He was the most loving, kind-hearted, SELFLESS guy. I guess he is in a better place now ❤

I can say this, having been a 13 year ARTCM Royal Conservatory piano player and ex-band member.... Jon is beyond. As a piano player alone he is our Mozart. What I see him do is unbelievable. He never looks at music or the keys. His hands are literally independent beings with a brain in between. Talk about a savant. I was taught to memorize Chopin & Rachmaninoff. He just seems to know it. Jeepers Jon. I have no words. Thank you for showing the way and being humble.

I've had this on repeat for days. I have it playing in the background as I work during the day and as I relax in the evening. One of my favorites and I have played a lot of these over the stay at home work mandate for approaching two years.
