I used both sides, then I saw a young artist friend sort of folding the dipper card to dip into the bottle getting ink on the end on both sides of the card. Guess I was doing it wrong!😊 I like your big cards. I've bought two new ink swatching books - the Wearingeul Impressions book and the new Dominant Industry Ink Archiving Book - the Log of Atlantis.

I love green. The Ku-Jaku looks close to a green ink I have - Diamine Invent Seasons Greetings. Only Seasons Greetings has a red sheen.

I've never managed to get into it even though I've tried many times. I still hope to someday but unfortunately I agree it's kinda boring.

Wilted rose is an intriguing colour for sure. Totally agree about the spoilers, and having to avoid a minefield of swatching videos since October! I use a seam ripper to both open ink boxes and get the shrink wrap off of the bottle necks

It worked for me ...I remembered reading this book back in the early 1970s thinking I would never want to go through any of the things she went though...If it works on some kids great

Hey Sis, I have the Sweett Life Collection and blueberry muffin, pumpkin cake and iced cookie are my favorites. I have that same dip pen as well. I’m going to cut it in half so I can dip the point and write, and use the back as my swatch dip as I do now but the length will be gone. A glass cutter should do the trick. Thanks for sharing.
