It's absolutely insane that kids no longer have any actors like these guys to enjoy. There aren't wholesome family actors anymore. Even the ones we 'have' like the Rock aren't really all that wholesome at the end of the day. Sure Williams told off color jokes during specials, but I'm talking about their actual character as people. We don't have people like this anymore. It's a real shame.

The streak could have ended with DDP, Sting, Nash. They were all blazing hot and EVERYONE was tired of Goldberg squash matches & the streak. Probably none more than the guys who tried to have good matches with him & he resisted because he bought the hype.

Oh man, Williams and Varney would have been comedy gold 🥇 ❤ 😅 Miss you guys

Jim Varney was a far more accomplished actor than his "Hey Vern" idiot persona would have led us to believe. Going toe to toe with the great Robin Williams in this video demonstrates this well.
@erinhoffmanofficial14125 күн бұрын
There's a video of him on here where he's doing Shakespeare. His performance of that in itself is incredible, but he ends it in the blink of an eye by doing Vern's "know what I mean" that shows how he can go from a serious performance of Hamlet, I believe it was, to his goofy character effortlessly.

I’d imagine that many of the elements for Home Alone 3 (1997) were probably borrowed from an original Home Alone 3 script that would have had Kevin in it if Macaulay Culkin took the role in 1992/1993. Kevin is home sick during winter. Harry and Marv escape from prison again and head straight to Kevin’s house for revenge. Kevin sees them outside of his house and Kevin tries telling his family and the police. But they won’t believe him saying that Harry and Marv are in jail. Late next morning, news is released of Harry and Marc’s escape but the family find out later in the day. Kevin is able to set some booby traps and has a final showdown with Harry and Marv in his house. But Harry and Marv manage to best Kevin by the end. Buzz drives home from school straight after seeing the initial story on a TV. Buzz comes in to save the day and help Kevin capture Harry and Marv. This concludes the Kevin and Buzz rivalry storyline for the trilogy. Kevin realises Buzz loves him and cares about him by protecting him. This could have been such a great movie if this idea was explored. Home Alone 3 (1997) was still good but not on the same level as the first two films with Kevin.

I had the privilege of meeting Robin in 2004 while on my first deployment. He was a genuinely friendly guy who loved meeting as many fans as he could and making everybody laugh. His death was one of only two celebrity deaths that brought tears to my eyes. I really wish I had gotten the chance to meet Jim, as I had been told the same about him. I loved the Ernest movies as a kid and teenager, and still will occasionally watch one for a good innocent chuckle.
