That’s totally meeeh and I really love it. But how do you organize all those snippets? That’s the weakest part of my process. I usually don’t review and fav my stuff what makes it harder to continue working on it. Sometimes I‘m lucky to use different ideas in one final song.
@akers_music22 күн бұрын
Hi! I find that creating a new song is the most fun part and is relatively easy… making choices, editing and doing the boring part (listening over and over checking details) can be really hard. The 1 minute song is not about creating a song to release, when I get hung up on details, I remind myself of this and it allows me to take bold moves and delete parts (even if they are cool). Don’t think, just do. It’s about building up skills, discovering new sounds and having fun without losing weeks of your life! I hope my answer helps. Keep working on your music and processes. I am sure you are doing great :)

Keep on working on making it a three minutes song. You need to add a synth or maybe guitar solo and have a break somewhere in the middle of the song.

"Hey there, I’m AKERS MUSIC, an electro-indie-pop music producer and vocalist, passionate about crafting quick, punchy, and immersive tracks that pack all the energy and emotion into just 1 minute! " Oh, sorry, cancel what I just have said. :-D
@akers_musicАй бұрын
No need to cancel what you just said! Some 1 minute songs do turn into full length singles and Repeating Myself is on the list. Sometime next year as I’m completing other songs at the moment but I appreciate your suggestions… I will definately try them out. A guitar solo would be cool!

Really cool you say that. I played around with different ways of singing, also to start warming my vocals back up. Haven’t been singing much this year so vocal cords are rather tight.

I relate pretty strongly with the creative process here, some days a good idea just comes instantly almost because I’m not trying anything specific, and others I end up spending hours only to realise this is garbage, what are you doing, delete this now before someone else hears it

Nice to hear! I find it a great way to be free in the creative process and I believe I am making much better music because of it than if I tried to write a complete song every time. Thanks for listening and getting in touch. Take care 🙋🏻♀️✨

@Embrrzz Жыл бұрын
why u say dat
@Andrii-pw5nk Жыл бұрын
@@Embrrzz this is my experience and a lot of musicians are strugling with this too. It really takes a lot of time and effort to make a good track which lasts longer that a minute and the only reason why I'd go for a 1 min track is just simply to check one or another technique/idea. However I'd never release such a small peace. Anyway it's all subjective feel free just to ignore me, however I can't remember any good song which lasts just a minute... just like in a sex ;)
@Embrrzz Жыл бұрын
@@Andrii-pw5nk loool bro, tbh i agreed when i read that so wanted to hear bout ur experience which makes sense. very funny comparison haha
@HOLLASOUNDS Жыл бұрын
@@Andrii-pw5nk Once your at the 1 minute mark it's pretty easy to extent to 2 minutes by simply duplicating what you already have and adding something extra ontop second time around and loop the second verse twice add a break down and that's it 3 minuts.
@Andrii-pw5nk Жыл бұрын
@@HOLLASOUNDS hi mate! Sure, I have an idea on how to arrange music and deal with the loops. Approach you mentioned is valid, but however it depends on a lot of things, genre/style for example. I saw a lot of videos over here, like “how to exit a 4bar loop” and sure I had the same problem before. Btw, sometimes you may want to remove some elements after X bars, not just add more
