Wow that’s a nice looking paddle! I use the slice glass solo 260 cm and love it for solo canoe paddling the big lakes. I’m not sure how well my slice would float as I’ve yet to test it but having wood blades with buoyancy sounds great and that paddle looks sharp. I absolutely love all your products! Seriously the craftsmanship quality and attention to detail in all your products is second to none. Keep up the great work guys!

Does this apply equally across solo canoes and tandem ?
@sterng10
@sterng10 3 жыл бұрын
Generally speaking, the uses and benefits of a bent or straight canoe paddle should be consistent across all canoes, whether solo or tandem. Many of our customers use bent and straight paddles in tandem canoes, and many also do the same in solo canoes.

I’m puzzled. I currently have a 240 I’m between 5’5”-5’6” and when I took it out I felt like it wasn’t long enough. The fishing kayak itself is 30” long. I thought I had a 220 paddle until I measured it from tip to tip. Why does it feel so?

Wish more companies saw the value in creative, personalized works like this. Too many companies just say, "Buy my stuff! Buy my piece of kit as opposed to the others!" This is a nice portrait-of film, capturing the wonder and beauty of canoeing. People aren't buying a piece of kit; they're buying a vision. Few outdoors companies seems to understand this.
