Hi. My son 2.5y just had an accident and now is in a spica cast. If I don't do the velcro strap and just put the vacuum cleaner hose directly with the cast, will it also work the same way?

@@RKCHUX I tried the vacuum by itself and I didn't think it worked as good. Hope your son recovers quickly.

OMG!!! Your video was so helpful. We used it to make the decision to purchase this item today. As soon as my husband drove off he mentioned the loud noise. I remembered you showed how to fix it and it worked!!! So grateful.

Thanks bro for sharing..it saved our road trip. Installing roof rails on minivan is ridiculously expensive.

Thank you! I spent 50 dollars on that stupid cast cooler which cannot cover a spica cast AT ALL. This is so much better!! and I have everything already! :) Thank you so much!

My wrist was screwed, plated and splinted on Wednesday (self paid.) I began experiencing bothersome itching today and did some online research. I intend to use a large plastic drainage reduction Tee or Saddle as an adapter and some sheathing. I'll power it with a wet/dry shop vac, which might speed the process. I expect to be fitted with a cast, early the week after next. Dale

I hope that works out. Shop vac would definitely be better. I didn't own one at the time.

The volume is barely audible. I don't have my cast yet. From watching, I gather the casts are fairly gas permeable, Is that correct? Thanks, Dale
@fahadshamsi20362 жыл бұрын
Yes they are gas permeable but I wouldn't say they breath well on their own because of all of the additional layers inside. To overcome that you need to either force air in(which tends to be a bit more challenging) or create a vacuum inside that forces the outside air to make it's way in(this method). Hope your injury isn't too bad and wish you a quick recovery.

Thank you so much. I bought one before, but I could not find a video how a van door closes. Now I know I can carry one on my van!

Peel back the weather stripping and hook the strap to the body seam underneath. It's a more secure connection and will help prevent leaking.

That's a great idea. Thanks for sharing that. I'll give that a try next time for sure.

Thanks so much for this helpful video! Our son just broke his leg and we're worried about what to do when the inevitable itching starts. I also found the Cast Cooler and didn't want to pay $40 for it. This is a great solution - thanks for putting out such a great video. 😄

No problem. I'm glad it could help someone out. I hope his leg gets better soon.
