I want to say my own take on being demisexual I am demisexual but I'm leaning more to being just asexual but but I am demisexual I have had people ask me a lot about being demisexual and being like isn't that just normally being like a person and my take on it personally is a lot of people go into relationships thinking oh I'm going to have like intercourse with this person I am going to be sexually attracted to them and I like when I have kids with them and I want to do this and that and that can be sexual but in my personal experience I go into relationships only expecting platonic and romantic feelings until I form a deep enough like connection or bond with them to the point where I start having like sexual thoughts and desires to actually be sexual with that person but a lot of times it is going into a relationship and being only romantically or platonically attracted to a person instead of just being sexual sexual stuff comes like a lot later especially for me because a lot of times it's hard to form bonds with people including like what I've gone throughI find it a lot easier to just say I'm going into the relationship only expecting romantic or platonic attraction until sexual attraction arises and that actually happens like I can see someone and say oh they're hot like I like them romantically but do I see myself being sexual with them no not at the moment but if I form a strong bond with them and I'm like connected with them in a certain way yeah I might have sexual feelings for them but it's a lot different than just being like oh that's normal you don't have sexual feelings for someone immediately it's a lot different and more complex when you actually like it's a lot more complex when you're actually going through it and you actually experienced it

Sorry if that didn't make sense that's just like my own take on being demisexual in my situation it's different for everyone it's a spectrum and stuff like being a sexual is a spectrum and there's many different terms for being a certain person in the asexual community

We have a ghost alter too. Ours is a holder of very severe trauma and we don't have much access to him. It's possible Forgottens role in your system is similar. The fog may be dissociation to keep the trauma from coming in to your conscience mind. Our dissociation is often represented by fog

For us, that word is "lazy" For similar reasons. "Childish" is something to be protected, and nurtured. It's a part of us that we protectors long to be reunited with.

Im 13 and get called childish all the time because of plushies. I don’t know why people think one can be to old for plushies or for anything like that for that matter. Childish is one of the worst words out there. People shouldn’t get called that just for expressing themselves and being excited about things they like. Please don’t let them get to you. Im so sorry that happens to you guys. If someone is going to judge you on what you like they are not worth it.

Oh wow, I... I think we may have a similar alter, actually. I hadn't realised before that they may actually be their own alter, but damn. You seem to be so, so, so similar to what a former (main?) host of ours was, and there is still a big part of them within us. [A subsequent host even changed our formal name to a word meaning 'mist'.] I think they are perhaps not a ghost but... invisible? I also think it was good for them to be able to see themself in you - to see that there exists another one somehow similar than they are. Thank you. - Luukas

I know these plushies are just representations really, but my partner also has an emotional support demon and was immensely giddy when he got it. It’s one of his favorite things and it brought me a lot of joy seeing how happy he was to see it and squish it. He’s in his mid 30s. Don’t let anyone dismiss your joy just because they can’t find theirs. ❤

It's funny that you are so worried about me hurting someone while actively doing exactly what I explained would hurt us most. You can't diagnose or undiagnose someone based on a short video they decide to share. This, exactly this, fake-claiming without the proper reasons is what hurts the community not us using our voices to share our experiences and advocate for ourselves. If you care about the DID community as you claim you should know that much at least.

if theres no original than they erased whoever this girl was from existence
@nerdyenbyandace
@nerdyenbyandace Жыл бұрын
That's not really accurate. Think about it like this, if you were to drop a bowl and it breaks which of the pieces is the original? They all are. And they all have a new form and stand for themselve. It is a flawed analogy in part but I think it illustrates the "original" thing pretty well. Yes, obviously none of us are like we were before we split so in that sense you're right. However, that's a very harsh way to put it and can lead to misunderstandings. Additionally, no one is the same as they were yesterday but we don't say you "erased" the version of yourself from yesterday from existence. Obviously, things like trauma will have a bigger impact but phrasing it like that doesn't feel right. We had to split to survive, even though it is now difficult to live with. I don't know who I would have been without the trauma and if I hadn't to dissociate to that degree. Obviously, I wish it never happened and that I could have been safe from these experiences. But to put it like that feels like putting part of the blame on us as a system (which you probably didn't intend to say). Like we actively erased who we were because we wanted to, which isn't the case.

You and me both school Ishard and draining. There it time where you could be gone on minute then another your freaking out unsure how you got there. ADHD is a pain and drains your mental health and phycal heath by doing that. Stressing out over the smallest things can lead to a even bigger problem then before. But all this to say take some time to recover and relax. Do what you love the most.

Put that girl into a mental health hospital and get her soon serious help . This gen-z society has gotten way out of control . All of them need a good old slap back to reality ( not a physical slap , maybe for some but in other cases like this one , they need the help they need before they do something horrible to themselves .

We're a bit late to the party here, but we just found your channel, and this video, and... wow, as a system who has, what we can best describe as, "experiences paralleling those of people with OSDD-1b", this is absolutely amazing that you guys are putting yourselves out there and willing to express yourselves openly. We've been working on trying to be more open with others, ourselves, and are making progress, but major props for taking this step forward. You definitely have 9 more here that have your back on this. Stay awesome, and keep being yourselves. <3
