Unbelievably, the estuary recovered in one tide. And as usual when this happens, the baitfish were getting annihilated right here this morning...very interesting time of the season...thank you for the comment!

All the rain in this season will not be able to wash the sewer smell out of the beach sand. Something must be done to have the sewer out of our beaches on KZN from north all the way to Transkei.

You do not know what you are talking about .. The Kosi Border has always been fenced with no elephant /game etc. crossing from Maputo Reserve into Thembe or anywhere! These mini TFCAs are as follows: Ndumu-Tembe-Futi TFCA is between Mozambique and South Africa (SA) Ponto do Ouro-Kosi Bay Marine and Coastal TFCA is between Mozambique and SA Nsubane-Pongola TFCA is between SA and Swaziland Lubombo Conservancy-Goba TFCA is between Mozambique and Swaziland Songimvelo-Malolotja TFCA is between SA and Swaziland (recently incorporated into Lubombo TFCA) Where is the Lubombo TFCA? Ndumo-Tembe-Futi TFCA will link the Maputo Elephant Reserve, through the Futi corridor, with the Ndumo Game Reserve and Tembe Elephant Park in South Africa . Other community conservation areas within this region will be incorporated into this TFCA. Ponto do Ouro-Kosi Bay Marine and Coastal TFCA will link the Greater St Lucia Wetlands World Heritage Site with the coastline of Mozambique. @@TheSardineNews yes we were very excited about this and was looking forward to filming the elephants united after many years of separation due to fencing and the war in Mozambique. Unfortunately many people settled in near Ndumo and have been poaching the reserves forcing the reserves to keep fences up so no Futi corridor will be opened until they can remove refugees in this region… We need the concrete wall to stop the 4x4 cars being stolen here in kwa-zulu natal taken across border as fences are easy to cut through.
