Jenny - There are three sides to every coin. Those that stand up for what is right, proper and ethical, even when it may mean taking some unpleasant medicine (that think and act with thier heads). Those that stand up for wrong-doing, corruption and chaos, often for personal gain at the expense of others (that think and act with their tails). Those that stand for nothing and do nothing (those that sit on the edge - the third side). We need more people to stand up and be counted doing the right thing. One should never apologise for doing the right thing, people should be commended to do it. Multilateralism?
