I had one of these over 20 years ago loved it! still my favourite car! Pretty much exactly the same body kit, same colour, had the same engine, the only thing it was missing was the turbo. Mine was a 1.6 gear which was basically the same engine as XR3i. Reg was F898 RTL if I remember correctly. It was petrol bombed by a couple of idiots I was rowing with as a youngster. It was pretty much burnt out to nothing, the steering wheel was half melted, would you believe it when I put the keys in the ignition a couple of days later, it started! I actually drove it with gloves and goggles 🥽 on 😂 to a large lay-by near about 5 miles away. Loved that car incredible drive, handled like a dream. Had one of them alarms when you’d get to close it would tell you to stand away from the car etc lol. I’d love to get my hands on this one. Message me if you still have it pal.

But I bought a Vauxhall instead as it just had the individual appeal compared to the focus st equivalent. Very tempted to sell mine now again a i have an itch I need to scratch. 😂

May i ask where you got the part for the ABS sensor. Mine need doing but paranoid on where to get them from

Mines was very same except mines had the xr3i alloys and mines was a q reg always remember it the reg was q148sds

I had a mondeo same shape as this and absolutely loved it!! I always said if I had came in to money I would have got an RS engine conversion and made it 4 wheel drive and had it as an OEM+ looking car.

Hi, just watched your video and I appreciate! I woke up one morning and the exact same notifications came up on my dashboard and my car wouldn't start any more. Is there any possibility that those alerts might have caused that? I'm still waiting on the money-extortion-dealership to find out why my car won't start after I have paid a whopping $1400 for nothing and they keep telling me they haven't found the issue yet.
