Sorry for the late reply. But I think it might be a little too narrow to balance on a bed. But the hinges are very sturdy. So there might be a low, sturdy position which can hold the Switch fine on a bed.

My only gripe with this stand is that I believe the joints would go loose over time. So think I will stick to the Hori playstand. Thanks for showcasing this and the different angles!
