How in the world, other than Twin Suns, are you smuggling in that Chewbacca for cheap? Maybe you were on autopilot when describing his benefits, but his smuggle is NOT good in Premier format. Where are you getting the red aspect? Running him in Palp Red and ONLY smuggling him in?

Super dope that you're re-evaluating older leaders in light of the cards from the newer sets. I've found from cursory assessment that Twilight has improved the efficacy of a good number of previous leaders, and I'm intrigued to see what improvements you've noticed about these older leaders that I haven't yet realized. To me, you're the best when it comes to info on how to build leaders because you actually show us HOW to build these leaders rather than just tossing a deck list at us and telling us WHAT to build. You truly are our sherpa up the mountain.

At least Boba and Han have an immediate effect when you deploy them as upgrades. Any leader like Ventress that doesn't is going to be very risky to play as upgrade instead of their unit version with all the confiscates and other upgrade hate that I'm sure will be prevalent.

@@seank2333 yea that is a very good point. Makes them a bit more worth while the that new mechanic. Upgrade hate is already in use for the great upgrades we have now so will just continue to be used in the next set

Did you played that deck? You have hero who should be drawing cards and you have basically one card that draws when you want not your opp.No top target, no deathmark, any red draw card, this looks like a bossk without skill..

2+ additional cost is the best possible outcome for his type. friend won't shut up about it but i haven't invested in changing my set up in almost 2 years now.

Where does it say that critical and double strike only activate when attacking leaders? I feel like it's a huge omission to not have that in the battlemat/rules that come with the starter sets.

Attacking a leader is the only time you are dealing damage that takes life. You'd never have Double Strike or Critical trigger when attacking Battle Cards

Nice vid :) Very useful info. I do wonder if explaining the bases (rare and vanilla) every video is a bit much?. Could be good to do 'here are the basic video' and point people to it? means it would cut down explaination for specific leaders each time? Thought I'd be the 'erm actually' nerd before anyone else. Krennic also has restore :P... oh and Padme (may have gone to look... but she isn't... great :/)

I keep in the basic info at the beginning so any newer player that watches gets an explanation of the basics without needing to watch multiple videos & included timestamps so anyone who doesn’t need that info can skip it. I’m working on getting refined to not take up as much time but like to keep it in so it’s helping cover all levels of experience. I completely forgot Krennic has Restore. He isn’t a leader I’ve really played or faced much.

@@xTheSupremoBurritox it may not be for you but for brand new players to the game or people just looking to play a specific leader/character then it sure is helpful to know. These are made for all levels of players not just veterans of the game.

The problem with this strategy is that you're going to lose viewership to veterans when you could just reference a "beginner" video and link to it. You're patronizing your veteran viewers when you don't have to. I won't be watching any of your videos after this one.

I've learnt how to add timestamps & included them in this new Set of the series so you always have that to skip the parts that don't apply to you. I'll continue to keep this series beginner friendly as its for all players not just veterans.

I need to be spoken to in a clear and precise way so I can understand everything and what is potentially needed in this deck. He's covering all areas of the game, as he's mentioned. He's included timestamps for each part of the video you can clearly skip to. If you can't be bothered to click a mouse to the desired part you want to view from, then i'm afraid that's a you issue my guy. I'm also sure he's not going to cater all his videos to be tailored to you.

I have the deck but no vaders, as this is my first deck and i did not want to blast my budget without even playing before. Would you consider fennec shand (cunning) 7 as a replacement for vader, or how would you go instead? 😅

@@erlkonig549 tbh there really isn’t a viable replacement for Vader as what he does is pretty unique. He not only ambushes but also puts out more board presence too. If you don’t have them at the moment then you can replace him with Maul for now as he is similar in terms of stats & provides the same in ambush.

End of game one, you cant have the second vader resolve come into play abilities until one of the two is defeated first. If you kept the untapped vader, the one that was returned wouldnt have been able to ambush.
