I know this is a 4 year old video, but I still had to post my experience. HORRIBLE CHEAP kit. the 2-way lugs are not tall enough for the tension rods so the rods bend outwards, the threads are horrible and constantly bind up even with proper usage, this kit is a cheap china made not-even-pearl kit with the pearl badges slapped on it! (yes there are several other amazon and other no-name kits that are identical all the way down to the cheap pot-metal hardware) The Shells are really robust, but that's about it. new single-lug hardware and new tension rods is the only way to redeem this kit, and at $410+Tax US, it's horrid. I paid $329 for my kit that I intended to convert to A2E electronic drums and while that turned out amazing, I had to pay for all new lugs and tension rods and get rid of the old ones, re-wrap the kit etc. All in all just know you're paying $400+USD for a $200 kit.

Just picked up a j23 which I assume is the newer version of this same model. Question when I pull up the volume is that passive mode? And does this model require a battery? If so can the battery run dry when plugged in but not in use? Thank you for your time sir.

I want a multi effects pedal that can emulate a whammy pedal which one of these units are the best for that I was gonna get the more ge 1000 but apparently the expression pedal sucks and there is no expansion for another expression pedal. Been looking at boss go 100 put can it whammy I wonder. Headrush is outta my price range tbh looks dope though
