Good win for Rutgers. But shouldn't have won that game. Huskies were undisciplined and outcoached, but not outplayed. Rutgers got lucky. 1 dimensional offense and below average defense. Good luck winning games playing like that again. Wins a win though. As a UW fan I wanted to throw my TV through the wall knowing there were 16 points left on the field. Good on Rutgers staying disciplined. They needed it!

Rutgers is still a Division II team playing in D1.

I dunno if it's predestined, but I accidentally hit simulate against Rutgers on my Road to Glory and they were the only loss in my season with my Huskers xD looking forward to a good game.

Man I tried to find a non-homer take on the game and this wasn't it. I'm putting a hundo down on Rutgers and the money line along with a few others for a decent paying parlay. You two dudes know Rutgers is winning this game if you've watched any film.

Williams and Robinson are good Dlinemen but they are not elite and they run like fat men in rubber boots trying to catch a scrambling QB on the edge. If they aren't recruiting more speed and less fatty they are wrong.

Other than Colorado.........nobody has struggled to stop Nebraska's run. Non-factor in any game going forward.

Rutgers fan here. We can never seem to get over the hump when it comes to Nebraska. Being that this game is in Lincoln, not feeling great about this one either!

That was a way too negative. Kind of depressing actually. We had the lead and almost went up but three scores. Schiano was clearly playing D to stop the big play. Yards are easier to come by outside the red zone when you play that way. Can the defense be better - yes and they will. But watching this I would have thought RU lost that game.

Nobody mentions how WIDE open opponents are esp for 2pt conversions!!! Sandlot kids cover better than our DBs.

They showed a killer instinct against VT and it almost backfired. Hard to say what the best strategy should be.

Mike, I respect you and rutgers definitely got lucky in this game. Some of those post game analytics shouldn't apply, IMO. We were up 2 scores in the second half and you know Greg plays to win by 3 points and no more. He allowed washington to go down the field and score that td. As long as it took time off the clock. I personally don't like how every win is going to come down to the end but that's how he coaches. And it worked for this game. Thanks for your insight as always.

Bad news coach. You don't win this game you will get "chopped" at the end of the season.

I think we go overboard with analytics. The only analytics that matters is the final score. Good team finds ways to win even when they are not playing well.

you guys forget to comment on losing our linebackers coach to Minnesota. THAT THIS is some of the reason our linebackers are not playing well this year!

How much time was used up after that 4th and 1 punt? That might have been the difference in Washington not getting close enough for a makeable FG.

RU isn't 4-0 by accident, but strongly agree there's a lot of holes. We don't have the stable base yet to keep this team chopping between seasons and some teams are going to 'find us out'. Over the next four years, a few good and lucky moves with personnel could be the difference between being on the cusp and being a serious contender for B1G division champ.
