Bellísimo himno. Les escribo desde Chile 🇨🇱. Esa música la escuché en la Iglesia Ortodoxa Rusa, de Santiago, con el coro dirigido por la Madre Joanna. Siempre he venerado, aplaudido, el alto fervor de la Iglesia Ortodoxa. La magnificencia de sus templos y el logro espiritual de sus feligreses.

Beautifully adapted. Masterful - so often there are false accents and clumsy transitions in samohlasen but this is utterly fluent.

Archbishop Arseny was Ukrainian, hence Ukrainian influence in this hymn. :-)

Lumină lină a sfintei slave a Tatălui ceresc, Celui fără de moarte, a Sfântului, Fericitului, Iisuse Hristoase, venind la apusul soarelui, văzând lumina cea de seară, lăudăm pe Tatăl, pe Fiul şi pe Sfântul Duh, Dumnezeu; vrednic eşti în toată vremea a fi lăudat de glasuri cuvioase, Fiul lui Dumnezeu, Cel de dai viaţă, pentru aceasta lumea Te slăveşte.

Kastalsky is very inventive. I have written some 90 minutes of Orthodox music (with texts in Slavonic) in the last two years. The world premiere of 4 of these works (All-Night Vigil and Divine Liturgy) took place in Stern Auditorium, Carnegie Hall. Professional choirs in Albany, Troy gave 9 presentations recently.
