All good, wasn't my car, belongs to my current boss who still owns it. The car is pretty mint and kept stock engine-wise. Great little car, if I have the chance at driving it at a track I'll post up a video!

@@Drizzydid Between those three tracks I’d say NYRC, I love the speed and flow the track has. That first chicane and then going into turn 1 is really enjoyable.

Also that last corner, I remember one of my laps I came and went completely sideways and drove out, all the places in Calgary doesn't allow drifting so it was really cool to be allowed to drift here

I have my own personal helmet and on it I have a Go Pro sticky mount for whenever I want to record a session.

There's one coming up in a couple of weeks where it starts with the radio on because I kind of liked the vibe the song was giving me that evening but then I shut the radio off afterwards haha but yeah, I do agree the silent drives give a better experience and it almost borderlines on ASMR I feel. By the way thanks for watching, it really makes my day!

I'm always trying to get my hands on whatever I can get, but I would certainly love to do an old Honda video! As a matter of fact, I might just have something up my sleeve that you might find very interesting that I can try doing a video this summer with!

Thanks for the comment! That video I did of the 1990 Ford Tempo L is mine actually. Aside from that, I own a 2004 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor that I’ll eventually make a video of once it’s back on the road. It needs a little work to get it running right.

Most of the time when I drive with no radio it’s usually in a manual car since I like listening to the engine to shift at the right times, but of course in this case that doesn’t apply since it’s an automatic. Sometimes I just didn’t have the time to pair my phone and choose music, sometimes I’m not in the mood. The times I played music I felt like the video needed something rather than awkward silence with road noise and clanking of random stuff going over bumps. You make a good point though and I think I might continue doing videos without the radio. Not everyone has the same tastes in music and for the sake of this channel I’m sure people might enjoy experiencing the car itself more than hearing music. Yeah it's geared more towards beginners and treated more like an entertainment center.

Yeah I did two sessions last night and the difference between this kart and the other one I drove was 4 tenths, pretty big. And you don't really get to choose, they tell you what kart to take and it's always the next ones in line in the pits. But all that to say that it's just better to go with a mindset to have fun and not think about lap times which is what I normally like doing for just lapping :)

You probably wouldn't have heard much engine noise anyway since I wasn't driving it hard. They do make nice sounds when you give it some throttle, that I agree.

Je préfère moi-même les karts à essence aux karts électriques en général, mais je dois admettre que ne pas sentir le gaz et ne pas avoir de terribles maux de tête par la suite est agréable. Et en repensant à l'époque où ils utilisaient des karts à essence, leur entretien était plutôt mauvais et il y avait des différences significatives entre eux. Mais j'ai de très bons souvenirs de l'époque où ils organisaient les courses de Super Enduro 500, c'était très amusant. J’ai beaucoup appris.

C'était il y a 3 ans. Depuis, une grande partie de la piste a été repavée et améliorée. Regardez ma chaîne pour des vidéos plus récentes du même piste et vous verrez la différence.

It just has an R steering wheel. My friend swapped steering wheels from a scrapped R. I'm guessing because the original wheel on this car was in rough shape.
