Yeah I think I have 24 or 25 orcs I'm very happy with the size of their army

I can give you an estimate but I got some from lots so it's hard to say exactly but I know I've bought around 100 dollars of just the cmf on bricklink excluding ones from lots, the chima croc parts are all from my childhood so not stuff I bought specifically as well as most of the lord of the rings parts were from my childhood through trading so didn't really cost me anything now either. To average out the cost of the ones from lots which includes all the big figs which some of which go for about 40 bucks each and the troll queen who's also about 40 bucks I would say the army might have cost me about 300 dollars but hard to say exact due to a lot of stuff being from lots.

@@KommanderKaren Yeah lotr happened when I barely had money so I don't have that many of the sets or figures but I have a few and I traded for a lot of orcs as a kid. I want to try and buy a big lotr lot at some point when I have extra money

I would love to add a couple dinosaurs at some point I've seen people like bybeezon and a lot of custom minifigure people on Instagram make some awesome orc mounts. I don't have any at the moment though but eventually I'll get to picking some up.

@@rio0393 I’d recommend the $20 Dilophosaurus Jurassic park set due to it being quite cheap and coming with a dinosaur that fits the color scheme of the orks. However it is kinda small compared to the other dinosaurs. Or the Triceratops research set could work as well considering it is brown and much larger to possibly accommodate for more orks. Though he comes in a $50 set. Idk what the second hand market for Lego Dino’s is but I CANT imagine it will be good.

Yeah there was some really nice stuff and this gave me a great start to a lot of factions so I thought it was worth it. I personally found it on ebay as I check it a lot for deals and just bid on it and ended up winning.

Are you reffering to the blue and red ones because I don't want to add blue to this army otherwise I would. Unless you're talking about the queen's legs but I prefer those for my higher ranking troops :)

@@rio0393 I was referring the the queens legs but i understand you want to use them for more higher ranked men And also I know it isn't as medieval but a musket regement with the 2009 red coats torso like the one you used on one of your characters with medieval hoods and muskets would be neat but I would understand not using them and for the random soldiers you dint know what to ujse them for with the amour torsos they could be the kings nephews.

@@wholeset Yeah hopefully if we get more castle sets there might be some more good legs that come to pick a brick that I can eventually use for my more basic troops but for now the queens legs are just for my higher ranking units. Also that's an interesting idea I personally try to stick to more medieval times so I don't use muskets but I've seen some people incorporate them into their castle worlds.

Haha fair enough I just liked the idea and I had some prince of persia parts like the camel and turbans so I thought it worked perfectly. I was also inspired by goldfyre who made his raven knights middle eastern inspired. Good luck with the army I would love to see it when you make it :)

I did the same because I based a lot of my factions on GoT and the scorpions fit best for a House Martell-inspired faction

Yeah the sigil is the exact same so I feel like it only makes sense, plus considering the fact that I only have 10 total I kind of had to combine them haha

@@AlexHill-si3kd Yeah the colors and quartered pattern are very similar although the sigil is quite different

My biggest army is smaller than your royal knight army, they’re my black falcons and have 3 footmen, 1 commander, the falconer and a peasant crossbowman

To be honest I'm not entirely sure what you mean by fig barfing. I like that idea of the characters being lion knight rangers/travelers I think that would be a cool way to fit the personalized characters into my army!

@@rio0393 Fig barfing is when you takes for example the heavy plate knights and take off their armor pieces to use the armor print underneath. Than all you have to do is find a torso and legs that have the same colors as the full armored knight and put them underneath the big armor pieces. If that makes sense. It’s the process of making one minifigure many.

@@rio0393 Yeah. It’s so effective and I see many people have good prints underneath breast plates so I’ve just decided to tell everyone about it. It saves money and doubles figures.

Yeah I plan on making castles for my major factions but at the moment most of my building is focused on my medieval harbor which will turn into a big medieval village. Also I need to get the digital designer to plan out builds I've heard it's really good

Yeah I agree I feel people dislike them more because there's already so many other lion factions. I didn't realize they were the first castle faction to have a king but that's super cool. I also think their flags and cape prints are super well done for the time and they got more than a lot of factions when it comes to prints and whatnot. I think people also tend to dislike the set designs because they can feel a bit chunky with a lot of big pieces.

Yeah I had it as a kid so it's pretty scratched up but it still looks decent. Also I'll be slowly posting videos of my different factions as I get them more complete!

@@rio0393 yeah! Sadly I’ve had to quit Lego and I’m currently selling my collection (it’s not cause I want to trust me). If your interested in buying any let me know I can sell ya all the ninja ya want plus 23 of the 2013 red dragons and a ton of chima figs I’d been using as beastkin in my world some of them entire army’s like over 30 crocodiles and over 50 lions. I wouldn’t be selling em but I desperately need the money I’m getting kicked out of the house and I can’t take em with me so I’m trying to sell em all before I do (I’ve got a place to stay but I’ll have to pay my way and I need enough cash to hold me over till I can find a job there)

I used a scale and went to a bunch of stores as well as ordered about 12 from bricklink for 9 dollars each it sucks if you don't live somewhere with retail stores that have cmfs tho
