My M19 green car has a fairmont ROC 6 hp two stroke engine and the yellow MT 14 has a Kabota ZL 600 diesel engine both have a top speed of 34-35 mph the two stroke gets about 30 mpg and the diesel is a crazy 45-47 mpg . The green car is mostly aluminum so it weighs 650 lbs the yellow is all steel and weighs 2000. Lbs

Why is there a speeder sitting along the tracks at 2:40 as you go past? Did the owner wish to set on at the end of the group?

He is the tail end co-ordinator and will seton when the group gets bye him. We have co-ordinators at both ends plus a railroad pilot up front and they call out the mile posts to keep the group from spreading out to far with 30 cars they don’t like us spread out more than 2-3 miles apart

I have a question. Lately I have been seeing youtube channels of people who make their own bare bones speeders for use on some supposedly abandoned tracks. I know you all are not at all under the radar and have gotten written permission by the RR authority governing whatever tracks you are using. I get the impression that these other people are just taking advantage of a situation that they assume is "no harm , no foul" What are the legal ramifications of their actions ? I would appreciate your opinion. If these people derail and get hurt how can they possibly get timely help if their situation is dire ? What happens to them is they are apprehended or discovered by RR authorities or police who observe them riding rails not far from public roads while they are on patrol ? This is not a simple matter. No roll cages or protective body work. I hope you see this and respond.
@16grrr10 ай бұрын
I would think it’s a federal crime for trespass on the tracks especially if owned by the state or county. And I would think that they would be in tough spot if hurt and no one knows they are out there
