I used to rule the world Seas would rise when I gave the word Now in the morning, I sleep alone Sweep the streets I used to own I used to roll the dice Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes Listen as the crowd would sing Now the old king is dead, long live the king One minute, I held the key Next the walls were closed on me And I discovered that my castles stand Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringin' Roman Cavalry choirs are singin' Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason, I can't explain Once you'd gone, there was never, never an honest word And that was when I ruled the world It was a wicked and wild wind Blew down the doors to let me in Shattered windows and the sound of drums People couldn't believe what I'd become Revolutionaries wait For my head on a silver plate Just a puppet on a lonely string Aw, who would ever wanna be king? I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringin' Roman Cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason, I can't explain I know Saint Peter won't call my name Never an honest word But that was when I ruled the world Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringin' Roman Cavalry choirs are singin' Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can't explain I know Saint Peter won't call my name Never an honest word But that was when I ruled the world

Hi!
Christ, Marc should be touring with Queen rather than Adam. Not because he sounds and even looks like Freddie. But because he is the only person I’ve seen able to convincingly perform the songs and capture their emotion. Adam is a great singer, but his performances are rehearsed and robotic by comparison

Lovely full-bodied voice, that is pure, honest, 'n emotionally wists you away... Legendary guitarist David Gilmour's emotionally expressive finger work lights his Strat on fire ! An AMAZING performance! Romany Gilmour is my newest favorite singer, this combined with the new energy 'n commitment by David Gilmour on this music... Marks the new album "Luck and Strage" an essential addition to any collection from our Mr. Gilmour ! Bravo to all involved in this wonderful production. The Luck and Strange tour comes to the Los Angels metropolitan area Oct 25, 29, 30 & 31. Damn ... I gotta see 'em !

I lover her voice. This cover song is my favorite song from the album (Dave's guitar solo is great too.) Once she finishes her university studies and if she decides a career in music instead of acting, I think she could do well, even if she doesn't write songs or music herself. Have her mom write lyrics and her dad write the music (or hire other people to do lyrics and music.) She could sing all the songs and play her harp or guitar. If she ever made an album with her singing the songs, I would definitely buy it.
