The gears because of centrifugal force and high speed stays dry all the time. I personally clean all old grease and add a huge amount, run grinder couple of times and open it again and the gears was again dry. Not sure what is a solution but I used blue grease than is thicker and more resistant to heat then the original one which was brown color.

If you haven't personally filled the gearbox of your angle grinder, then it has very little grease in it .This is only for the manufacturer to save money . Every grinder Ive owned -whether it was made in Germany or China or Korea or anywhere, no matter how much I paid for it, didn't have enough grease in it.....Fill the gearbox

I scavenge 18650's from recycle bins, mostly found in old laptops and power bricks to both refresh these old battery packs, and create new ones. Most times, I''ll find there's only one or two truly bad batteries in a laptop pack, with the rest testing good.

Been a few years. Can't recall how I did it then. Good kits on amazon have the triangular screwdriver. I have one of those now (not back then) The other approach is use a dremel to cut a groove then use a flat head screwdriver.

The material I used was PVC. Its solid round stock. Bottle caps can work. They are hard to epoxy or glue so you will need to physically secure with screws for example otherwise it may not last that long.

If there are 5 cells, how would you connect the 4 terminals to the 2 ends and 4 junctions? The two end terminals are marked + and - and have the heavy wires. If the 4 junctions between the 5 batteries connect to the remaining two connectors with the little wires, the little wires can't carry significant current, and there's not enough terminals to match the 4 inter-battery junctions.

Yes. Now I know a lot more about a multiple cell battery pack. Its not for taking different taps to feed the drill. Its for monitoring the voltages on the different cells while charging.
@davidforrest937
@davidforrest937 Жыл бұрын
@@manickn6819 Still you only have two non +/- taps on the top of the pack and 5 cells. The two center taps on my Black and Decker 1.5AH 20V battery are both at 0V relative to the "-" terminal, while the "+" terminal is at 20.6V. Between "-" and then next terminal , I get 0mA of current and 10K ohms, and between "-" and the third terminal, I get 0mA and 0 ohms.

The contacts are on the side. 4 in total. Look at 12:36. If the contacts get fouled it could be beneficial to remove the cover like I did and clean them up. It takes a little mechanical know how though. Also the net says take off the battery contacts before disconnecting and reconnecting the airbag just to be safe.

Interesting exploratory trip through the Keurig K575? (the exact model is not disclosed) components, but it is near useless for accomplishing what the video description says -- to increase the temperature of coffee it makes. The video has several missed opportunities to help someone who's competent but unfamiliar with the innards of the device, which was ostensibly the reason for the video. For example you state that removing the cover was quite challenging but fail to disclose how you overcame that challenge without breaking the plastic so that viewers might take advantage of your experience. The video *never* explains how to achieve the goal in the description. In addition, there are several unconfirmed guesses at what some components are (the fusable link) which you sometimes later explain, yet its unclear how knowing that is related to the stated purpose of the video -- "fooling the machine to increase the temperature of the coffee it outputs."
@manickn6819
@manickn6819 Жыл бұрын
This was the first video on this device. It wasn't my Keurig. Don't think I knew the model number or I would have included it. There are other videos on the opening on youtube. I actually looked at another to get this device opened. It was properly described so I didn't see the point of duplicating. To understand how I "fooled the machine" you need to look at video #095. Its explained in detail on that one. Probably more detail than you want to know. Have a look and comment there if its still unclear.

Thank you for your video! I have successfully modified my K-Mini Plus using your method and it finally produces hot coffee. For those interested... The K-Mini Plus thermistor has a pair of white wires going into the board on a socket marked NTC. Separate a small section of this dual conductor cable into its 2 seperate insulated wires. Cut one of the wires and splice in a quarter watt 1.2K resistor. This means leaving one of the wires intact from board to thermistor and the other with a resistor in line. Insulate it well using heat shrink tubing or electrical tape. Close up the machine and enjoy hotter coffee!
