Thanks Susan. You are one talented lady! Can I ask, what format do you provide the SR18 beats for 250 songs in your pack? Cheers

Thanks! If you get the Party Starter Setlist, its in an organized google sheet with links to tabs, listen links, genres, decades and more. The top 250 have the Alesis SR 18 beats in a column! www.partystartersetlist.com

What fun, good ole fashioned kind people and a great band. I'm moving here. Florida sucks. It has been ruined by all the liberal Californias moving here. They have ruined our highways and streets...too much traffic. It crawls. Too many kids too.

Nice video. Seems like you could benefit from using a pedal to start/stop or fill the drum patterns. Again great video.

Great video thanks; have just bought one :) A bit late to the party so you probably already know this by now, but there *is* a 'copy' function so you don't need to re-record the basic pattern when creating A/B/Fill variations as Cliff did at 28m. When you've created the A pattern, press and hold Save/Copy, and then press Page Up. The screen changes to 'Copy' instead of 'Save'. Keep the Save/Copy button pressed while you choose the destination pattern, e.g. B or Fill, or even another pattern altogether, and then press the Rec/Enter button to do the copy. You can then edit this copy to make the variation as shown in the video. That Page Up button cycles through 3 options: Save, Copy, Append, so you can even join patterns together. Thanks for sharing the tutorial and good luck with your live shows :)

So excited about you going to Sint Martin. I love St Martin. I owned a time share there for 5 years at The pelican club. Best times. I wish I could join you there. It would be a kind of reunion of sorts. Haven’t been there since 2001. But how I love that place. Best wishes for a great show there and safe travel s to get there!!

Thanks for the demo. Do you create songs with the patterns or do you manually change them live? Just curious because you didn’t mention anything about song mode.

like 5 years late to this, but you can adjust the "battery low" notification in the settings to a lower voltage so it's not flashing on your screen

Love Susan’s tutorials! I liked them so much I purchased the unit for our duo. My problem is we play ‘bring it on home ‘ by Sam Cooke. 12/8 time. I can’t figure it out how to change the time. Do I need to create it?

Hello. Have you ever used the midi in and out/thru? I have a midi keyboard and was wondering how to use the midi in and out feature on this Alesis. I have the Alesis 16, though.

I realize this video is 5 years old, but would you have a video about programming new patterns? I’ve viewed other videos, but most go to fast with their instruction; they do not know how to break it down for a newbie.

Your vid caught my eye as I've been searchin' for the best canned drummer.. and watching you on your Alesis teaching vids (very cool btw) I realized I have both the SR16 and SR18.. and then I laffed bcuz yours is so beat. Which made me wonder if you guys are still rockin' today and whether you've found your correct wall wart power supply. Great show, btw . Silvermane Wesley John, Chiloquin OR
