I mean, most of the time Chris makes the song his, but this is clearly George’s song. It isn’t made for power balad or runs, it relies on a precise beat. George nails it. It’s meant to be smooth as whiskey with a twang and George has a different accent that just works better with it. Chris did well too but I don’t think this one is quite made for his type of voice. Both George and Chris hold back a bit because this song is about control, with short bits of projecting voice, but the beat is so precise you cannot do runs with it and not get a sloppy product or change it from the original song.
