I keep my receipts too in 2024 😆 i keep them in between the few paper bills I still get and I then store them in a shoe box as the months pass. I shred after one year, but I'm thinking i can shred by the end of the year

They have options between 25-30, I believe. Mine is 30. It works great in my case since I’m using one planner for work and personal plus some journaling. 😆

I feel the same way about Sterling ink. I had so many but now I’m to your point. I’ve used them all up so now I’ve gone back to the subscription as well and that’s what so unique about her subscriptions and her beautiful artwork is that you have to have them but you don’t need too many and if you start collecting too many, you can just stop the subscription and then come back to it and she’s not giving you the same thing over and over and over or giving you things you can’t use like a lot of other subscription boxes you know there’s only so many sticky notes I need Only so many page flags I need in life, but I can always use a sterling ink sticker so I’m doing the exact same thing this year. I’ve gone back to her subscription box because her stuff is just so pretty and it makes me so happy to see in my planners

Why not use the monthlies in the planner instead of keeping a separate monthly added in with it? Especially since it bulks up the EDC. My EDC serves as a place for to dos etc in the same way as your dailies and I make notes or micro journaling in it too. My main planner that stays home and it’s my full everything, our life in a book. But it’s A5 so I don’t carry it out and about. So I carry an extension planner that does all the things I need when out of the house. Keeps my brain straight. Excited to use my planner for 2025 because I think it’s a great layout for an EDC especially when combining it with plans and journaling.

The reason I keep the extra calendar that extends to 2026 is because it covers the school year. As a mom of 4, it’s hard to separate by fiscal year since the school year has so many special days like recitals, tournaments, concerts, etc. If not that, I would totally get away with just the hobo techo planner

I'm constantly trying to find an all in one that's portable and suites my needs. I started this year in b6 slim, but I just couldn't get my inserts the way I wanted them so I defaulted to my weeks and stalogy combo. I've been in the cousin A5 size this year, but just the dailies for journaling and memories. I can't for 2025. My life isn't in compartments so it doesn't really serve me to have split up journals and planners. I'm attempting b6 slim for 2025 again, but with the help of the common planner and then blank inserts. I'm also picking up the Paper tess pocket daily more as a test, but consolidation is my goal for 2025. Love seeing other people on that same journey!!

I love your 2025 planner system! Keeping it simple has been so difficult for many of us since there are so many beautiful planners out in the market these days. I also know what you mean about “my life is not in compartments” as most of us busy people with 100’s of tasks around the home and outside. My attempt in separating work and personal has been most difficult and finally, when I accepted the fact that it’s not in separate compartments to start with, I had planner peace. 😆 Cheers!!! For planning 2025 I’ll be using rings since rediscovering it this past July, I’m loving it! And like you said, it’s working why mess with the system. For long form documenting I’ll be using Just Scribble’s A5 which has the planner as well, just in case I get the urge to switch things up planning wise. :)

Love your organizational planner style!! For trips with my family - I created a "planner log book" - basically 2 dollar tree slim notebooks in a A5 cover. Worked great for trip information and any activities we do while there. I used to put all this information with my daily stuff - got too convoluted!🙂

I completely understand the chaos! I tried so hard to completely try and move into the pocket full time, but so far, I keep gravitating towards the personal rings. The thing is, I’ve been working from home during the summer months and so I didn’t have the need to have a functional planner when I’m out running around with kiddos. Now that school has begun and I’ll be traveling for work, I shall see how the pocket does for me. Will keep you posted!

Printing inserts was never my jam until this year. I’ve had it with trying out so many different planners and notebooks. 😅 I hope you enjoy creating your own setup!! Papers: I use the premium 32lb paper and 20lb copy/printer paper. I like to use the thick one for inserts I’ll have in the planner for a long time like monthly calendars and anything else, the 20lb. 😊
