Most of the referees in Premier League are light years away from Premier League Standard. Anthony Taylor is a perfect example. Terrible Referee. A lot a decisions where i ask myself: who is paying him.

The worst thing about him is the arrogance and his personality. Not even looking at the potential penalty for Germany but signaling that the hand was next to his body when it wasnt. Thats why he is such a terrible referee that should not call important games. He doesnt have the character for it. Letting him referee in the Euros after his terrible performance in the PL is ridiculous.

Totally not like Taylor and Zwayer could be receiving some kind of nepotism. The english lad's the one thing but the fact that UEFA lets a ref who has been confirmed to have accepted bribes in the past run around the Euros instead of about 15+ non-corrupt and better refs from the Bundesliga is just the indefinite proof that being good at your job gets outweighed by being good at head to UEFA's president.
