I have never needed a preamp for any of my acoustic guitars...I do roll the treble way down so maybe that is why I have never noticed a "tin can'' sound. Is that the ES2 in your Taylor?

@@jeffr985 Its an ES-1, this model did both in 2015 but mines the last of the ES-1's. Theres still a mid-scoop I dont like and it may just be this guitar, but the eq in the Dream 65 fixes it. I would be interested to try another acoustic with the bose to see if its just this model acoustic, but dont have another. Still, if anyone has a 214 model they will likely want a preamp to polish the mids.

@ Thats a thought, I already owned the Dream 65 prior so I just use that instead, I bet an eq pedal would work and if i didnt already own the Dream 65 I would get an eq pedal

I like the wireless availability and charging feature in the Bose S1 pro plus. That’s a huge benefit to me. But it’s a bit pricey and noted for not having enough volume. I like the Mackie Showbox for having a designated pedal board input plus recording and a mixer. This seems like they are friendly to electric guitars. I’ve heard the mixer is cheaply made. I like the EV Everse 8 because it seems to have more likes but not sure why others than it’s louder. I wanted to plug my Yamaha THR30 into one of these. But after I bought it found out these busking PAs sound awful if you try that. My dark house option is to by a speaker for the Yamaha THR30 amp to go into it, and get a cheaper PA for vocals.

@@DNYS8N Thanks for input, i discovered the wireless transmitter doesnt do electric guitars as well because it cuts the note immediately with no sustain after each pluck is done. With acoustics it seems fine but again a pre-amp is necessary or the Bose sounds funny and canny with a heavy mid range without a preamp.

@@tomnape28 When I get freetime I will try and do that with the Cache and let you know if I see a difference. Im not sure what its set to currently but I wanna say both are default setting. So in default the 2020 does better. Thanks!

@@tomnape28 Update: I went to online options and set it to 64GB for rolling cache and it still had the texture mapping go in and out just like in this video. Im glad I had game pass because Id be crying if I lost $70 to something not as good as the older one. Thanks for suggestion though, I wish it had worked!

Someone said its because they are streaming the data and its not being read from the hard drive. Idk if thats accurate but it would make sense to me. The person also said that MS did this to make the game smaller as opposed to making everyone download high definition Earth models. I would agree that not having the entire globe on your hard drive would be ideal but not streaming it fast enough to users isnt ideal either. So why not have regions able to be downloaded? People could pick to download their city or state if they wanted. Maybe you can do that or maybe you will be able to soon. Idk cause I don't own the game. I'm just going off of what I've heard.

There's mods available that make areas more HD, but even then still you got to be careful with which ones you do as some will crash your game/stream

Pay special attention to the US Bank building how the texture isnt there and then comes and goes in the 24' version, this is also true for mountains and other buildings where 2020 outperforms everytime it seems. Look at the other buildings too.

I'm not Shure but there may be an XS of differing proximities, which makes it harder to choose which is the better one. Personally I like the XS. Loses something but gains something i prefer. At least with it taped to the guitar body.

@@peteacousticturbocharged It does, its just without a preamp it will have kind of a canny mid scoop to it. That Hosa insert cable is essential if going wireless but if using cables simply put a preamp between the acoustic and the Bose to treat that canny sound if it bothers you like it did me lol. I hated it before the preamp but now i love it! Plenty of headroom too!
