Good point. We actually struggled with a alternative position that wasn't in the way of the kitchen traffic. The sofa can be a single side sofa or day bed sofa so a more comfortable TV use

A house or apartment with only one bathroom should ALWAYS have a bathtub, not just a shower! How do you bath s child or soak when you have an injury/to relax, for women's body stuff or to hand wash some items (especially since there's no washer/dryer in the apartment? The windows need/should open. Most city building codes for low rise apartments require that windows open.

Thanks for the input. The windows indeed open, just not shown in the video and the bathroom has privacy glass too, just not shown. About the shower/ tab, that's a good suggestion

With this design and layout you wouldn't have few units. We do have designs specifically for studio apartments and one bedroom units.
