I love Apple x Darling, Cerise x Daring and Faybelle x Briar so much!!! I think for Cerise x Daring I didn't like it much at the start, but once I was thinking about it more, I think it could work so well??? Or at least if Rosabella x Daring wasn't really a thing canonically. Sincerely, in my opinion Cerise could very well be brought to Epic Winter, maybe not exactly to replace Rosabella, but more like to also help Daring, but in a different and cooler way than Rosabella (because of her, well, beign secretly half-wolf). ALSO, Apple x Darling... I never thought about it until the Dragon Games realesed and... wow. I, honestly, was never a fan of any EAH ship until that scene. It was honestly so nice to see that Daring wasn't Apple's prince (what definetely brought a little bit of spice to the Daring x Apple ship) because of the way that he doesn't really seem to love that much anyone other than himself, and then it was actually Darling who woke up Apple, the one who kissed the sleeping princess to make her wake up and live happily again. Sad that it was kind of censored because it is a sapphic couple and then turned out to be basically CPR instead of a kiss, but also intersting that it was a magic CPR or something like that (because of light). I also wonder how their relationship is in the books, it's been so long since I read the books that I forgot most of them... Faybelle x Briar is also a ship I never thought about until I was rewatching EAH and was thinking of a ship with Briar and then Faybelle came to my mind. So, I'm the type of person who, when shipping two (or more) characters, think a lot about the color palette and aesthetics, and when I saw Briar and Faybelle's design in Epic Winter, I was just... "WOW! These two characters definetely could look very good together!". Also, I love how their relationship got in Epic Winter.

So to clear a few things up: The new story plot of the movie/series follows Clawdeen as the main character as she travels to the Monster World to attend Monster High since she is now half monster half normie and doesn’t fit in the normie world. Once there she is constantly told that normies are forbidden from the monster world and that if you don’t have a “true monster heart” you aren’t welcome in the monster world either. Now about the Clawdeen/Deuce/Cleo situation: if you are a MH doll collector earlier this year there was the release of the Haunt Couture dolls which are a revisioned versions of the OG ghouls. Included with those dolls were the signature diaries. Frankie’s diary specifically mentions how Cleo & Deuce broke up over the summer and the only person who has all the details is Clawd Wolf (Deuce’s best manster). And as some of you know the ENTIRE movie was leaked online and several fans, including myself, saw the movie. Spoilers: Cleo & Deuce breaking up was also mentioned in the movie making it canonical and Deuce does seem to show romantic feelings for Clawdeen. Also to clarify Garrett Sander the creator of Monster High never said Clawdeen was a canonical LGBT+ character but that he supported fan theories & headcanons that she was a lesbian. The only character from G1 of Monster High that was supposed to be gay was Kieran Valentine as it was hinted on his diary. Overall the new reboot isn’t my favorite thing in the world but if new or old fans like it, more power to them.
