I will never forget watching Topper's video he did when cleaning a record using isopropyl alcohol. I used to watch it often to relax and enjoy the quaint old school vibes and the sounds of the animals in the background. I haven't been watching for a while but just the other day i was talking to a friend about resurrecting my 8 track soundcraft tape machine and explaining how i would need Isopropyl alcohol to clean the heads. At that point I was instantly reminded of this wonderful channel. Thought i would go searching for it. I noticed no update for two years, well i knew then maybe things had changed. I am so very sad to see he's passed away. Please pass on my commiserations to the family. Please do keep his channel alive in his honour. Btw the video i loved i cant find anymore, wonder if it's been taken down. All the best from the UK.

Did anyone notice the "WUVT" written on those records? Well seems to me those might have came from WUVT-FM a non-commercial FM radio station in Blacksburg, Virginia. Non-profit run by students apparently, licensed by Virginia Tech. Looks to me they might have been stolen. Who with that amount of diversity in their record collection would be so stupid to sell that for $25?????

That dishwashers with even destilled water only, will remove every dust ON record, not single one will stay, even static is gone. But that can not remove old dust stuck in grove. I recommend using that metod before and even after play, so if you are very careful, your record will have no dust at all.

The cleaning TT is a great idea! Providence made it so that I re-watched Topper's video not long after binning a not-worth-fixing Technics SL-B200 with a noisy motor and a dead tonearm. I dug it out, removed the tonearm and installed an On/Off switch. It's perfect for what it needs to perform.

So sorry to learn of Topper's passing. Loved the channell. My dad spent summers in Peterstown, WV, and Narrows, VA, (He's in Kansas now.) But has fond memories of swimming at the Boom years and years ago. We were both excited to find out someone in the VC was from Dad's early stomping grounds of all places. Very cool. RIP...and may the Lord always be with you.
