Does anyone suppose that the animation from Banjo-Kazooie when you get a Jiggie may have at least slightly inspired this? I just watched a vid with the Jiggie animation in it, and something about Kazooie popping out to take it into Banjo's backpack made me think of this.

Its a funny approach to video game deaths i wish more video games took this approach instead when you die in other games its screw you do it over again not try harder next time or good luck next time video games always have to go for negative death scenes
