was checking out some of the links to some of the accessories you listed. Would love to see you do a video on there do bright screen upgrade, seriously, considering upgrading to that for my first generation, noble, and getting rid of the white screen would love to see your take on that product.

Thanks. The quick start guide is useless. The 80 page online manual was translated so-so and is confusing and odd to read at times. It doesn’t follow well in any order I could see and some basic things, like how to charge, is left out. Says I need to fully charge it. Doesn’t say how. Ya it’s basic stuff but with this I don’t want to assume anything. They need a chapter for cars only.

On the home stretch with my build, any recommendations on servo choice? Preferably not too expensive.

Have you considered magnet mounting the body? I find it snaps to the perfect fit and works easier than velcro which wears over time.

A plastic spring clip on the front edge would fasten the battery edge down sufficiently IMO.

Hot racing sells a battery hold down that's lighter 6061, and lower cg because it's a 2 piece battery brace front and back instead of under. Hot racing also makes 6061 top deck. Normally 6061 would be too weak, but solid for 1/24. The stock chassis is also 6061 aluminum. Options in case you need lower cg. I just know I'm gonna have a hard time fitting electronics.

I hate how none of these reviewers ever take the bottom off to show what the internal soldering looks like. On many of these cheap servos the gears case and PCB are quality but the soldering job on the internal leads is terrible which makes them completely unsuitable for air applications unless you open them up resolder the wires and add electronics silicone glue to the solder joints.

I just seen the specs and it says that it can handle 14v. Can you confirm? I want to put it in my new build on 4s but I think that’s too much for it.

Finally someone puts on an upgrade that actually might make the car better or more fun to drive. All the noobs are wasting money on aluminum arms. Gonna be like driving a tank. Takes the fun and agility away. Gonna watch carefully how yours drives because I'll have similar upgrades except made of lighter aluminum. I won't be buying aluminum casters though unless I think the steering feel is out of control. Which servo do you plan on putting in?

Would love if you showed some running footage of the car. Hard to tell if I want this motor without seeing it in action.

With the SVC engaged, can you still use channels 3 and 4 to control other things (lights, 2 speed transmission, locking diffs, etc)? I currently have a Spektrum radio, their version of SVC uses channels 3 and 4 for controlling the AVC (their version of SVC).

Should replace that servo.

I have to say thank, your step by step is really helping me out. I just finished steps 1-6. 😊 is it normal for the diffs to be quite tight? You have a great way of explaining the steps and you saved me from a few mistakes. This car is a bit daunting for my first build in more then 35 years😅

I'd test it with plastic caster blocks first, before going full aluminum spindle and casters.

Does this upgrade fix the car’s tendency to “wander”? For example, my stock car cannot be trimmed. If I manage to get it to go straight with trim and then give it a slight amount of turn, letting the steering return to center on the transmitter, the car will continue making a left turn like its “stuck” in the left turn. The same thing happens going right. I don’t see anything binding, and the front doesn’t seem loose. My electronics have been replaced with a mini28/6500kv kit so I can use a Flysky NB4+ (just FYI, not that it really matters because this doesn’t seem to be a trim or subtrim -related issue). Love your content. Keep it coming!

This is exactly what I was looking for! I am trying to remove the play in the wheels and it is looking to cost more than the rc itself to address such a small issue as you mentioned in the video. The blue does look nice on the car. When do you plan on doing a video of the car running? I'm curious how it performs after the upgrades with all the extra added weight.
