I never used a three speed front derailer right until recently…keep in mid gear on flat land, shift to small gear as soon as you go uphill, and go to larger gear going downhill… There needs to be more suspension trike models available…

I bought my Greenspeed Magnum XL at the end of Aug. I purchased this because of the weight capacity. So far other than switching out the double crankset for a triple crankset and a couple of accessories it's stock. I live and ride on the eastern plains of Colorado 40 to 50 miles east of Denver. I don't ride paths, I ride down the roads. This means there are flat runs and a lot of hills, big steep ones out of a few creek crossings. I do not have a power assist, it's all me and this trike and I have not found one hill we can't pedal up. I'm 66 yrs old with a bad back, can't walk and a few other health issues. It's comfortable and rides nice. You shouldn't take this condemning review in consideration. Ride it, you'll like it!

I stood topside during Maneuvering Watch, also coming in and out of San Diego. I just remember the smell of the fresh air as we we first came topside, coming into port, it seemed so different.

Like fitting a watermelon in a banana peel. I guess a rooftop cargo carrier like a Thule or Yakima would help out a lot.

Just a note, size of tubing is not all the consideration. A quick check on-line at ICE website shows cruciform part of frame is chromoly steel. So, I suspect that the smaller diameter tube of chromoly probably compares favorably regarding strength with the larger diameter aluminum tube of the Azub. The material choices both have advantages and disadvantages. For me personally, I like the use of Aluminum because you don't have to worry about corrosion and theoretically is gives a softer ride?( probably can't in reality tell this).

At 36:10 into Matt's 47 minute KZbin video of his Ti-fly X being built you can see that bracket holding together two pieces of the chain tube. Not sure if that helps.

Yes, it may be a mindless “cleaning video” to you, but to someone just returning from Cycle-Con, who rode EVERY demo trike there, more than once, and decide I’m buying an AZUB, and spent countless hours back home on the AZUB configurator, adding a part and changing a part, watching someone else’s video then changing a part on the configurator again, and is finally ready to pull the trigger and order a $10K+ recumbent trike, I sure am gonna watch every second of every video and listen to every word and opinion from everyone. Thanks for a mundane video, which taught me a few things. By the way, I’m one of those buyers who has to order online, have it shipped to a dealer, then shipped again to me, since the nearest AZUB dealer is almost 8 hours away. Thanks for the vids.

Really like it and all the 3d printing, I 3d print most of my Nscale stuff too and find that as enjoyable as the trains.

4:48 give an option to remove the GIANT stupid photo markers that block half the screen. Also, for some reason they dropped a bunch of the theme songs they used to have a while back. I went back to the free version when they did that. It’s great for adding 3D tracking to videos I make, but it needs to be more adjustable in its options. For instance, the angle of the 3D view it generates is a roll of the dice. Sometimes it’s perfect other times not so much. They should at least give you 2 or 3 views to choose from.

Hey Mike. I have the same trike. That metal tab and/or bar is broken in half on your chain tube that you rotated around. It is supposed to be on the top portion (of the trike) which you rotated it to, but the tab should be twice that long. I goes under that pully and attaches to the chain tube on the other side to hold them both stable and in position. Both chain tubes get zip tied to that metal bar/ tab thing. The upper chain tube has a little bracket it fits into . I'll try to attach pic. I'm having an issue with my chain tensioner on my brand new Ti-FlyX. I'm wondering if it's worth having the tensioner?

Thanks for this in depth review. I'm wanting to buy a trike and am between the Azub Ti Fly or the ICE Sprint X Tour. Listening to you I get a good idea of the Azub. I'm in the uk and had no problem finding a demo ice trike at a dealer. Not so easy to find an Azub to try out.
