Ah, yes, because nothing says "true British values" like handing our democracy over to a privileged South African billionaire who only seems to care about his bank balance. Forget afternoon tea and village fairs, let’s just sell off our country to the highest foreign bidder, shall we? The way to change a government that we, the people, elected is simple: wait for the next fair election where everyone has a voice-not just those with wealth and influence. Democracy is about ballots, not banknotes!

The media has a bit of a frenzy at the moment around old frog-face Farage and his personal Banker Musk but all it will take is 4 years of scrutiny (yes, it will eventually happen and serious journalists will get around to scraping the thin paint off like happened with Jezza Clarkson when Victoria Derbyshire cornered him for lying as a tax dodger) and the charlatan will reveal his true self. So no, i'm not worried. The only way Musk's $100,000,000 will put Farage in power is if he can do what he did in the USA and offer electoral bribes to voters. As soon as he tries that here - he and anyone he is sponsoring are cooked - the Yanks let him get away with electoral bribery but there isn't another Western Nation that would allow it.

Exactly! The British public has a built-in radar for nonsense-centuries of monarchy and Marmite debates have trained us well. Musk and Farage trying to buy influence here? It’s like trying to sell tea to China-we’re not having it. Let them try; we’ll still call it out with a proper cuppa in hand!
