Great video brother!! I was just looking for a productivity app and stumbled across yours. I didn't know it would also help with my ADHD. Huge bonus. Thanks for the recommendation and taking the time to put this video together. I love the story arch, structure and execution you did in this. Keep it up!

Thanks for this, Neil. I have pretty full-on ADHD, although apparently not as bad as some folks here! I've been using Notion for a while, and while it's capable of so much more than I've been able to understand, it's nonetheless been super helpful. Glad we're on the same page!

Hey Neil, I also have diagnosed adhd and struggle to find an organisation plan that works for me, looks of notes and planners. However, I have just got a brand new job which is a trainee position requiring me to go to university. I am so excited! And very grateful as I’ve been a single mum a long time and have my own online business. I’m hoping motion will be the solution for me, it sounds amazing. Just need to learn how to navigate it, once I master it I’m hoping it will get rid of my 6 different note books. I’m a 34 year old female diagnosed and medicated with some serious ADHD, I’m also highly creative and compassionate. Loved your video, thanks for being so honest and open and making me feel a little sense of belonging. I can’t wait to get the grasps of how to navigate notion! Bring on uni and full time work while being a single mum and running my own side hustle - thanks for the inspiration
@NeilEvansRocks7 ай бұрын
Hey, I hope that it helps - it's definitely been useful for me. I think a big part of surviving and thriving with adhd is knowing what works, what works sometimes and what doesn't, no one tool is a panacea, but collections of tools and coping strategies all used at once can make massive differences to our quality of life. Excited for you!

sounds like we've finally come full circle again and people not only creating but wanting authentic content and not just clicks and 60 second in an outs. well said. Also love the quote: When audiences understand the mechanism. love that. its what sets apart good stand up comics from great ones, good ones do the same thing over and over and fall off cause audiences feel they can "write it themselves" great ones adapt and change. so glad were finally getting that story telling revival. excellent video as always Neil
@NeilEvansRocks8 ай бұрын
Absolutely, I really do think that the snap back from dull short content, ai content and lazy reactions as well as the fishing expeditions that retention editing has made viewing some channels that were going properly full circle, simple edits, simple stories, well told Thanks for watching man, we should totally make something together soon!

I got to wear one for about half a day and the hardware truly is great. But you nailed it, it has some very weird iPhone 1 quirks. If App,e can listen to feedback on software and devs can get behind it, it can be a great market mover.
@NeilEvansRocks8 ай бұрын
Hopefully they’ll rapidly iterate and improve listening to feedback. There does seem to be a significant set of issues relating to integration of other Apple products and just general usage that’s detracting from the overall experience. I really think app development will make or break this
@ervicito778 ай бұрын
I think it may help users to enhance and better their lives if done correctly. Perhaps those who have health issues or certain disabilities. Or even assist the elderly. Or even assist in educating folks! Or porn? 😅 Who knows? The possibilities are endless! Wonderful video! ❤
@NeilEvansRocks8 ай бұрын
For sure, it’s got so many possibilities that could be positive, particularly as it inevitably becomes lighter and more compact
@alexanderhopf44728 ай бұрын
There are already some anime and Manga which use it or sth like that for VR and it's cool. Hope it will come this way.
@NeilEvansRocks8 ай бұрын
Here’s hoping, I think like the iPhone, it’ll be the app infrastructure that makes or breaks this.

@NeilEvansRocks9 ай бұрын
I'm in the middle of filming a video on my setup with a few links to some of the quick start guides and templates that helped me get up and running... I like you love notebooks, but struggle to use them/not lose them - I won't lie - a few years in I'm still using notion alongside notebooks, but notion is definitely the primary port of action on my phone and my Mac.

How long did it take you to get past the notion learning curve? There must be simpler things.
@NeilEvansRocks10 ай бұрын
I think if you’re using templates - and i’d totally recommend finding a few good notion template sites and grabbing the ones that work for you - that notion’s fairly steep learning curve can be massively smoothed out, I found that I’d got it working for me pretty quickly 4 or 5 weeks before I found myself not looking at it thinking “why the hell did it do that?” - i also think there’s WAY more support out there today - there are some amazing KZbin channels just dedicated to quick/efficient set ups
