I would try to avoid making Mike out to be a saint. My working with the Monkees goes back to the JustUs album and the reunion TV special. Mike had issues with a lot of people. He was quirky, yes, but he was rather judgmental and intolerant; which might have been a religious thing. Both Davy and Peter were victims of his vitriol. The other three were all incredible and, running into them years after initially working with them, they all would remember my name would come over and greet me when they saw me at a venue. Mickey seems to have a mind like a steel trap. He remembers incredible levels of detail.

I. Saw this show in Greensburg, Pa less than a month before Mike died. I saw the first tour in Pittsburgh , the summer of 1967 and I saw the final tour.
