My favorite thing of watching these classics is because there is so much integrity without all the vulgar language and sex in today’s movies.

is this actress prototype of Barbie? Even her hairs seem made from nylon silk.

The Running Man was released in 1963, this is not a 1950s movie

Hiding the name of the movie will sure throw off those copyright lawyers for a day or 2 (if they even cared). 🤣

Check the rear view mirror out in the convertible it's turned up looking at the sky of course in this scene there in front of a big picture screen setting on the stage so I guess they don't notice it...

This movie has been one more annoying view. Isn't the woman Lee Remmick?She had to play such a stupid woman. How naive can one person be? Her mate is outright criminal!

I’ve always like this movie. Love the action scenes especially when Harvey smashes the Continental into Bates’s car off the cliff.

The girl at 35:58 that was the interpreter played in the guns of navarone too. She was the one that betrayed the landing force to the Germans. She’s very pretty.

It’s good they didn’t shoot any torpedoes at the carriers or other ships at 18:39, because our tornadoes were garbage at that time. Wasn’t until 1944 they were reasonable, and they still weren’t great.

A prototype for 'The Talented Mr Ripley' no doubt. Very well executed. Excellent thriller. A marvellous classical score.
Excellent film, thank you. Unspoiled south of Spain some 70 years ago! Some of the great actors of the age.

The Running Man (1963). Bates was in a TV play: The Caretaker in the same year featuring Donald Pleasance and Robert Shaw which imho is something of an acting masterclass - so I am looking forward to watching this film also with strong cast.

But part she played showed her as such a stupid woman, which she played well. All in all I thought movie to be most annoying.
@marcsmirnoff93615 күн бұрын
@@conniesparks8033 Not sure what you are saying here-that there's something wrong in allowing "stupid women" to be portrayed in movies? Sorry if that's not what you meant. Well, at least Remnick's performance-it was a highlight for me as well. Though I personally wouldn't call her character "stupid"-the character was deeply flawed, yes, but with enough intelligence & morality to finally challenge her worst characteristics.
