I was just watching an interview with Dean Butler about that kissing scene ,he was saying there must have been a hundred people there ,among them ,Melissa Gilbert’s mother ,they had to keep the- flog that scene because her mom couldn’t stop crying ,i also heard (don’t know if it’s true ) that Melissa Gilbert was pregnant at 17 with Rob Lowe’s baby which ended in a miscarriage,she and Dean Butler had really good chemistry.

I was just watching an interview with Dean Butler on another channel here on KZbin,he was discussing the transition from his relationship between he and Melissa Gilbert’s character changung from that of her being a little girl and his falling in love with her character. He was saying that Michael Landon was very careful and made sure that the kissing scenes were chaste and carefully monitored and apparently Melissa Gilbert was very uncomfortable because of thier age difference ,she was only 16 and he was 23 ,in] think they had great chemistry.

Hay días que quiero ver la película a prueba de fuego, u otra de las secciones ,pero cuando las busco no las encuentro.Dias así me la pasó aburrida.. @@TheMrsWilderr Great to know i just brought the whole complete 9 season DvD set this past weekend and have only got to watch the first 3 episodes of season 1 but i haven't had a chance to watch the pilot movie yet . I'm also a huge fan of Bonanza and enjoy watching a younger Michael Landon as ( Little Joe). Thanks for sharing & for replying me back. ♡

Amanda Aiman same here! I really only love the ones where they are together! Those are the only episodes I watch! I wish so much they were here on you tube! They were years ago! They made the show for me! I think they would have made such a great couple in real life!!!

Amanda Aiman I always wondered how far apart they were supposed to be in age on the show! I don't believe they ever said Almanzos age. In real life Melissa Gilbert and Dean Butler are 8 years apart!

thank you!! i'm so sorry for the late reply. i actually downloaded clips from youtube because i didn't have the show on DVD, but i think taking it from the DVD would be easier lol xx
